The Road To 15K...

Hi everyone, I bet using a local so my goal starting from now until new years (January 1st), is to take 15K from that son of a bitch and make him feel like this

So here it goes!

Day 1:

Anaheim Ducks ML +100
Risking $95 to win $95
Reasoning:  Anaheim has now lost 5 straight games, all within a 7 day span, and have not played since the 21st.  Chicago on the other hand has been a disappointment to several people, posting a sub .500 record at 11-11-1-1, and are now going into the 5th game of a 6 game road trip.
The ducks havent really been playing bad hockey, just a tad unlucky, 4/5 of their last losses were all by 1 goal, and the fifth one would have been also had it not been for a beautiful pass by Corey Perry

I see them bouncing back against a struggling hawks team that still has to face LA in their last game of this trip.

Detroit Red Wings +100
Risking $95 to win $95
Reasoning: Now i am the first to say I HATE when people look at past games vs a team, as i believe every game is a different game. However the fact that Detroit has taken 9/10 against columbus shows the superiority of the Red Wings vs the over-matched Blue Jackets.  The Red Wings have a more potent offence, a much better defence, and are backstopped by Jimmy Howard.  The Red Wings have now lost 2 in a row, and are tied in points with Columbus but with a game on hand.  This is the first game of a home and home series for these two teams, and the winners will decide who comes out on top of the division for now.  I believe the Red Wings take them both, a better and more experienced team at +100 i will take all day any day.

I will stop if i start losing more than i am winning, wont go deeper than down 1K so i have my limits, and i wont be placing anything bigger than 150$ per bet, these two are $95 because i think there is pure value in them, the usual bet will be between $40 and $70

there are some advantages and some disadvantages

i have to cash in / out every week, so its harder to build up a bankroll when you win because the limit stays the same unless you ask them to raise it, but then if that happens and you start losing

nice....wings have a knack for playing an up tempo run  and gun style with them sharks

i know they play some VERY good games vs each other, i watched every game of that playoff series last season, i'm thinking they use this game as a revenge game, and show San Jose how powerful they truly are...
In my opinion, Howard wasnt at his sharpest during that series, but he seems to have improved on his game....
