Right here guys! No, not disappearing at all! (That would be classless!!!)
First of all, THANK YOU for informing me all about the game! You really show me what it is to be classy!!!
Watching the game last night, I heard that classless lout Doc Emerich bemoaning the fact that Vegas was very unlucky, that they were dominant at times, hitting posts, etc. Classless!! (Easy all you Old Timers - that's something called sarcasm - Doc is the best!))
Fact is, the Caps were the better team in games 2, 3, and 4. Knights were the better team in Game 1. So far, the Caps are the best team in the NHL. Knights are second best. This season.
Because I'm not of such Supreme Intelligence like you, all we can do for next year to see how it plays out. But my guess is that the Knights will be good again with their coach, GM and most of their players back.
To your point and question - because you are one of the "more intelligent" posters on here, no...I did not like the game last night in terms of our hometown team getting beat. They made a LOT of mistakes, hit a lot of posts. Still. that is not relevant.
But it does not make me blind to the fact that the Caps - with the skillful and emotional leadership of Ovi and better overall play - are on a mission. Even if the Knights were playing the game they played 90% of the regular season and the playoffs - they would still be down to the Caps. Nobody (not even your beloved Be-Fugly and his great team in Winnipeg) would be up on the Caps the way they are playing. All that said, we all will be at T-Mobile to cheer our guys on as if they were up 3-1.
Thanks again for your classiness - obviously it's contagious:

PLEASE don't disappear!! Classy posters like you are such a good example - always pumping up your own team, always being such good winners as well as losers!!!
Can't wait for Game 5!!!

Exactly! We have no other entertainment options in this town...so when the Raidas get here, it will be over....UNLESS........

Really? You're responding to a Raiders discussion. Btw, they're not in Las Vegas until 2019 at the earliest. The O/U is for wins, not points (unless you have a really creative bookie or you envision Gruden on skates) and is currently at 8. And their name will be the Las Vegas Raiders. I think your play, despite you being of Supreme Intelligence, will be incorrect.

Your Loyal Troglodyte here,
(I assume that's a term of affection since you have posted that name-calling and negative characterizations are not allowed in your Forum...after all, it's just a game, right?)
Wow, thanks for the insight! Especially coming from the Ottawa Sun! That bastion of hard-hitting investigative reporting is always where we like to turn for news about the inside of Vegas sports. (What do they say about UNLV's chances this year in the Mountain West?)
And then your own focus - that we will see what happens in a few years if the fans will continue to support the team. Of course, this.....and only this...will prove if Vegas has any "Real" hockey fans. Hmmmm. Wow. Give me a few weeks to digest all of that.......
Ok...I'm back. You're right...we will see on your point above - as simplistic as it is. But let me ask you a question about your beloved Raiders. If you had the means, would you fly in from the The Homeland of Hockey to watch them? What about if you were a fan of say...the Lions....and they were playing the Las Vegas Raiders...and you had the means. Would you fly in? Lastly, what if you were a premier prior or current guest here in town, known to be a sports fan. If you were offered tickets to a Raider game, would you accept?
Why have you come to Las Vegas in the past? Have you visited Denver, Miami, Charlotte etc. for the same reasons? (Let's eliminate radiology conventions if there are such things). Do you sometimes wonder how it is possible that with over 150,000 hotel rooms, Las Vegas has a 90% occupancy rate (it sure isn't the weather!) - and what the economic metrics of the kind of visitor that comes here bring? Again...this is still too simplistic.
It's not just the outsized economic resources and environment available here. Of much greater value is the human capital in terms of staging and marketing events - especially recurring entertainment events - that is second to none here.
So you're right. Time will tell. But to compare Las Vegas to other towns when the optics and behavior and - yes, the times do change in terms of technology, marketing, outreach and media....are so markedly different (yes, I grew up in the Midwest and the South, so I know the difference) might just be a bit too simplistic. It's not 1962...or even 2002 anymore. Think Moore's Law.
Thanks again for the nice compliment.

Sorry, wasn't here in 1994 D and P. But hey, what's wrong with making a Fair Catch south of the Border? The best story was about "O Canada" being sung more like "O Christmas Tree" when the Roughriders visited here.
The CFL still values the Posse. Last year, they honored the Raiders moving to Las Vegas by having a Posse Throwback Jersey Night at one of the games in The HomeLand. (I don't understand that, but sure you do.)
Nick Miletti owned the Posse - he nearly destroyed the San Diego Clippers and Cleveland Cavs via his doomed-from-the-start partnership with Sam Schulman and Irv Levin. Thanks for the blast from the past - where I know you guys love to live.
A PERFECT example Comrades - that wherever a game is from, THAT's where it should stay!
1. Football belongs to AMERICA so the CFL should be wiped out....and all of those NFL teams in Canada should be....oops, sorry. Looks like "Johnny Football" will be your next Doug Flutie - the greatest player in CFL History - who's greatest south of the border exploit was drop-kicking an extra point for the Chicago Bears. (Wow, BALTIMORE won the Grey Cup in 1995? Hopefully the Super Bowl will never be won by that NFL team in....oops, sorry)
2. Hockey belongs to Canada, period! It IS a religion and character gauge there. Your Supreme Intelligence has made this clear.
Any Hockey played south of the border (Please give the "Yoopers" a pass!) must be wiped out to preserve the purity of the Hockey Race. Furthermore, Cananda needs to build a WALL. Keep the heathen Americans, Euros, and especially (as the Finals have shown), ALL RUSSIANS away from YOUR great game.
Trudeau (is he still your top guy?) should BUY Philly and New York (since only THEY have TRUE hockey fans south of the border) move them to Halifax and Charlottetown (renaming the Flyers and Rangers to "Supreme Kunts" and "Used Condoms" respectively as so soberly put forth by PB) and send anyone not buying season tickets back to Trumpland.
"O Canada,
Our Home and Hockey-Pure Christmas Tree Land....."
P.S. You can get Posse jerseys (replicas) for $70.
