They got "THE CALL" From the Eye In The Sky In Anaheim

Question

Referee a few feet away makes the call that it's a good Ducks goal as he should have with zero contact between goalie and player. Then after a brief huddle (which was not initiated by the ref who called it a goal) the original referee who again was staring at the play just a few feet away from him when he emphatically called it a goal is over ruled by who knows because the other ref was very far away from the play.

This was a non reviewable call

Oh the call was goalie interference yet their was zero contact as the replay clearly shows. So why the reversal and who reversed it on the referee that was 4 feet away???

lol, these calls are unreal sometimes.... last month when Columbus played Detroit, nash ran right over the goalie and it was ruled a goal, and Anaheim didn't touch turco at all this time, yet it's no goal

The NHL and their wonderful officials are a very mysterious force from night to night my friend.And I remember that Nash play too. There is zero consistency and they seem to often make shit up as they go along.

They do not have to call a penalty, they can say the player interfered with the goalies ability to stop the puck and just say no goal. But there was zero contact and the ref on the scene called it a goal. Who changed his mind and why that's what I need to know.

Happens ever single game and yes you can be in the crease as long as you do not interfere with the goalies ability to stop the puck which he did not at all. I know your a Boston fan but please don&#x27;t protect that call, it was horrible and again does not explain who over ruled the ref on the scene who called it a good goal.

This is not 1998 you can go into the crease, players do every night and goals count unless they interfere with the goalies ability to stop the puck period. He did not interfere with him and the ref saw he did not and made the correct call. Someone made him reverse I would like to know who that's all.

DirecTV cuts the post game feed because I don't have the so-called Sports package which is nothing but garbage and does NOT includes REAL Sports packages... just non-local fox sports and crap like that.

The Ducks postgame show was about to dig into that disallowed goal.

I'm sure it will be disgused on the NHL Network so I'll look there.

i am thinking the nhl should follow suit to the nfl,making a quick review on all goals mandatory! in this case with the call on the ice a goal, they would have to prove other wise,without any doubt or the goal stands!
