Yesterday: 2-1-1, +1.67 units
Season: 8-15-1, -5.91 units
Consecutive winning days, a minor miracle. Still a long way to go to get to even.
Thursday:
Philadelphia ML (+116) - Raycroft in net for the Avs. Thru a few games I don't think Philly is nearly as bad as their record, but I think the Avs are. It's time for Biron to play like we know he can.
Washington/Pittsburgh over 5.5 (-105) - Both teams have played great D their last 2 games, but that ends tonight. Alex and Syd will try to one up each other all game, and usually Malkin finds a way to steal the show. It's very difficult to keep Washington off the board. They have scored 4, 4 and 5 in their 3 games. Pittsburgh will find ways to score on Theo and a Washington D that will not feature Federov tonight.
Tampa Bay -1 (+109) - I am excited to see what Olie does in front of his new fans. DiPietro is very iffy for tonight and I'm thinking he sits another game at least. Tampa has had a few days off and I think they will put some offense together against an Isles team that was spanked on Monday afternoon.
