one judged ruled and he was canadian, he stood alone in front of the tv on the ice, if u didnt see it u dont have to be a dick about it. once they said, "canadian judge", i knew ohno's fate. we care about speed skating as much as we care about hockey, not much at all. the point was why canadians dislike us so much, we would bail your country out in a war in about two seconds
well i saw the replay. since when is speedskating a contact sport? he clearly ohno had his hand on canadian guys hip. no u don't care about hockey. this is a hockey thread where there are tons of americans who love hockey and are regs in this thread, and i am scratching my head as to why u wouldn't like hockey- in a hockey hotbed like michigan is. u don't follow the best team in your state- the redwings? u most be a glutton for punishment and still believe the lions will re sign barry sanders. of course u would bail us out. have u ever been to canada? when u cross the border it looks exactly the same. restaurants, gas stations etc. usa economy would flounder without our support, but do we need to get political on this site?

To say that is total BS we were in total control of the game for 50 mins we had a meltdown in the last 10 mins. I'll be the first to congratulate the Slovack's they never quit they played until the final buzzer. Does Canada have to score 8 or 9 goals a game to impress you guys. I got news for you these are the best hockey players in the world on all the teams it's not gonna happen.

Ilya Bryzgalov: The Canadians "played like gorillas coming out of a cage."
Matthew Barnaby: "That was the best 7 minutes of hockey I've ever seen"
Bring it on baby! Gonna be a great game but all these Americans saying we got "waxed" the score would have been 4-3 had you not scored an empty netter and you were totally outshot and saved by Miller who stood on his head. Not to mention Brodeur played poorly.
I love these threads because Canada will come to play and without a doubt win! Its just the Canadian way baby!

where do i even start with someone like u?
u are allowed to put your hands on someone in speed skating, its the judges discretion if there was a push, once it was an american with his hands on a canadian skater with a canadian judge ruling i knew the outcome was inevitable. he didnt push him, there is a thing called flopping in even speed skating to get a call like that and its not out of the realm that he may have flopped knowing the ruling stands with a canadian judge because ohno was passing him regardless
secondly, just because i live in michigan doesnt make me a lions fan at all nor a red wing fan, piston fan, tiger fan etc...i grew up in new york, lived in ohio, keep guessing my teams..in fact i despise wolverine and spartan fans...
i have been to canada numerous times and when we americans go we spend $ on strip clubs, gambling, rub and tugs, and we even buy your molson and labatts beer here in the states, i love em both...on my honeymoon the nicest people in the bahamas were from ottawa and toronto, friends to this day and i couldnt stand the loud mouths from new york....but problem is friend caesars windsor suffers now and its been well documented because you cant smoke in their casino so the americans wont go there when we have 3 in our backyard that will still allow smoking when the new law goes in effect may 1. we appreciate any money spent in america from you canadians just like u do from us..but apparently your not spending enough to help because our economy is in your words "floundering"

all good. i like this w/u...in the other w/u's if u reread your other posts it really seemed like u were anti canadian. so my apologies. i like ohno actually. i don't know speed skating rules. maybe the cdn took a dive- i dunno. you might be right, but there were 3 judges that collaborated on the final outcome. if the canadian judge did disqualify ohno to give the cdn gold and silver then this matter should go under investigation. i would be against it as much as u. i guess one thing that is diff in strip clubs- in canada they go full nude- in the usa they have to wear the g string? haven't been to a club in awhile is this still true?
