IMO it is a fair deal between Vegas and the NHL. While Supreme Court takes the exclusivity from Vegas to be the sole legal place to place a bet - Vegas gets a team to make house some money. Or, in other words - quoting someone who is long banned: when the slavery was seemingly eradicated in the US, they actually enslaved all of us.

"the entry draft was FIXED for the VGK" WHAT a CROCK of CRAP!!! the ONLY three "Stars" from other team they got in the draft were obviously Marc Andre Fleury who ASKED to NOT be protected by the Penguins because he did NOT want to be a backup to Murray, James Neal who the Predators could NOT afford to keep with their salary cap and David Perron from the Blues same thing as Neal

of the guys that have become STARS for the VGK, WHAT did William Karlsson ever do in Columbus ??? he was a "fringe player" back and forth between their AHL team. Jonathan Marchessault and Reilly Smith ??? they were third liners at best with the Panthers. those three NOW make up maybe THE most "balanced scoring" line in the NHL.

Nate Schmidt ??? another "fringe player" with the Capitals. same with his defense partner Shea Theodore up and down AHL with the Ducks. Ryan Carpenter ??? picked up on waivers from the Sharks.

Pierre-Edouard Bellemare ??? low scoring "grinder' with the Flyers, Ryan Reaves ??? waiver pickup from Penguins. Tomas Nosek ??? AHL player in the Detroit system. right now those three may be THE best "shut down" fourth line in the NHL

Erik Haula and Alex Tuch from the Wild ??? Haula a 3rd liner and Tuch mostly in the AHL. Cody Eakin ??? a fringe player in Dallas that was a "throw in" on a trade

I have yet to hear one person say, yes the expansion rules were set up for them to win now, so I jumped on them to win the Cup at 500-1. The West at 250-1, and the Pacific division at 100-1. Not one single person ever said they would be any good. No one predicted the playoffs. But everyone said after the fact, that it was made easier for them. I don't get it.

Seems like a tough spot for VGK tonight as the Caps will be giving every thing they got to avoid 0-2 but i think VGK finds a way to win it anyways so i would recommend laying the - 150 .. hopefully VGK wins it tonight to set up a great spot in game 3

was hoping VGK could of pulled out a win in game 2 so i can unload on the caps in game it would of been a fantastic spot for Washington in game 3 looking for their first ever Stanley Cup win .. still like this spot for Washington playing their first Stanley Cup home game in many many years and looking to win a stanley cup game at home for the first time ever and with the price drop i still have to play it .. Wow, you are amazingly prescient!  I live in Vegas and you are so right!  If VGK doesn't win the Stanley Cup, we will only remember them as the team that had all the benefits of the expansion draft rules yet FAILED so miserably because they did not win that ugly trophy.  What a bunch of failures!  The pressure on them is unreal because they (The Golden Knights) KNOW that we EXPECTED a Cup win. 

I mean Jeezus, when they were 500-1 to win the Cup, we decided to buy season tickets - over 15,000 in an 18,000 seat arena - within a day of them being offered.  Talk about PRESSURE!!!  And then do you know what we did?  We put MORE pressure on them with the 2nd highest home attendance in the league and the highest merchandise sales.  So let me tell you - if those players are SO DAMN UNGRATEFUL as to NOT win that ugly trophy, well then we are ALL going to jump ship, move to Winnipeg, and cheer for that Big Be-Fugly Guy and his goaltender that is better than Fleury. 

Thank God the Pool Party season is here - yes, Ovi is a big fan! - and we can focus on what is REALLY important in life.  THANK YOU for helping us see right through this fraud.  Man, you sure are SMART!!!  

I get the thread but unless they give out runner up trophies, the knights have to win it all for this thread title to be taken seriously. We’ll see if that happens......

If you still have some faith in VGK coming back and winning the series well than tonight is one of those times you look forward to betting wise .. VGK off consecutive losses and in a must win game, great spot for Vegas .. VGK + 115 is the play

Ya know....I wonder.....with Vegas being down in the series, do the books hand out more FREE MONEY for knights backers or do they know that Knights backers will continue to line up with desperation thinking they can somehow still pull this magic show off? It’s a great question. It’s absolutejy hilarious to me to hear people say, “I just can’t see this team losing three in a row”! Why is that? Because they have a track record and because they’ve been there before? I’m not saying the knights win or lose tonite but to think that THIS TEAM, the Cirque De Solei of hockey teams has gained this reputation to succeed no matter what WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED, it’s beyond me. Listen, if the knights lose this series which I called they would if they played Ovie and the Capitals here is the tone you will hear. “It’s been a great, nobody expected us to go tho far, the fans and the league are proud, we should understand just how outstanding this run has been”. That’s gonna he the tone and as happy and beautiful as that is, show me the place on the cup where the games of the second place team are etched in history. You win or you lose folks so this second place crap and “the story” carries no weight especially in the game of hockey where the fakes get rolled out clearer than in any other sport out there. 

I hate this .. my apologies to anyone who tailed this play .. I looked at game 4 as a must win for VGK, the series is not over but history has shown a 3-1 deficit in the finals is devastating .. will see what happens but after watching game 4 the Caps just looked like the better all around team
