Take the over Rangers on 2nd half of back to back which leads to more defensive mistakes usually. This team's not playing great D either if you've watched them lately, Talbot is the main reason they're not giving up a lot of goals and he's due for a letdown. Couple that with caps injured on D and I think you have at least a 4-2 game here, but possibly much higher scoring.

Ya all good points, faceoff and Talbot vs Holtby so unless one has a "blow up" it probably DOES go under the 5 1/2. I DO think the other two OVER with "Brokeback" vs Bernier @ Toronto and Gibson vs Ramo @ Calgary

interesting "factoid" from https://prosportsdaily.sportsdirectinc.com/hockey/nhl-matchups.aspx?page=/data/nhl/matchups/g2_ondayrest_5.html. Capitals 1-4 in games with 3 or more days rest. sometimes a team with a long layoff comes out "flat"

Rangers are a championship team so all that garbage you just spewed is nonsense. That being said it's a good spot to chance the Caps here being the Rangers played a tough emotional game last night.

The over looked inevitable in the first, but then the Rangers tightened up, particularly Talbot. It could have easily gone over with the league's top two goalscorers playing, though.
