    ...and if so... how much...?

I almost can't wait for that game... Bryz made me concerned with how lazy he became late in the Isle game. He lost that edge that he had been playing with so well. Kind of looked as if he was getting sleepy as strange as that sounds for a goalie... On the 1st Isle goal he didn't even stick out his blocker to stop the shot...Why?

The way teams have been pushing around Boston lately the Flyers should jump out on them early... kind of a game like todays was... but hopefully w/o the last goals against.

Would like to think Philly and under but crap... FLA got 6 on the Bee's tonight...WTF?

    Skubi...

The Bruins are in very big trouble. Goaltending has been mediocre since Jan...injuries have not helped but above everything else...I see two very big problems with this team right now which I am afraid could sink this ship fast.

    1. They are not hungry. I don't know what it is but their fight is gone. They are being out hit and physically pushed around which is hard to believe since that is their style of play and how they make their hay.

    2. In some interviews...I have seen players starting to make excuses. I have heard a few B's players say how they deserved better...that they had a good effort...etc etc. bullshit. Anyone who has played competetive sports knows that once you start making excuses and feeling sorry for yourself you are done. Play through the adversity and injuries (see Pittsburgh Penguins).

I don't know this for sure but I think we have a splintering locker room up the road. I think veteran leadership is lacking and they really miss Mark Recchi in the room.

I don't believe they will hold off Ottawa and could see them slipping all the way out of the race. No desperation.

I would not be backing this team against any opponent right now.

Not a fucking chance Flyers will be favourites on the road in Boston. Maybe a pick'em at best when the line opens. I agree Flyers looking good and sexy against Boston, and will probaby get pounded by the sharps! I could see a 15-20 cent line move in this one throughout the day.

Boston will likely open as a -120 or -130 IMHO. But as I said before...I will not be on them.

There is absolutely no chance in hell that Philly would be a favourite in Boston. Line opens -130 area IMO. Lets not get too ahead of ourselves here. Boston hasn't played well lately, but that could change anytime. To tell you the truth, if Ottawa did pass Boston, I would hate to be the 1, 2, or 3 in the East. Struggling or not, Boston has great goal tending and a great team, and that would be a first round nightmare for any of those teams.

I'm not referring to the current funk they are going though. I am saying when (or if) they return to typical Bruins form by play off time, including all aspects of the game, then it's a terrible team for a 1, 2, or 3 seed to have to play. As I stated in my comment, they are playing horrible right now, but that could change at any moment.

I agree about Boston being able to change at any moment. They did get off to a bad start too. The playoffs are a completely different animal, so I ain't passing judgement on Thomas yet.

Bryz might be doing well now, but let's not forget his HORRIBLE performance for Phoenix against Detroit in the playoffs. If he can prove himself in the post-season for Philly, then I will give him props as they say.

However, this game is part of the regular season and I will definitely consider taking the Flyers in this spot depending what the line is.

Huge Bruins fan here and this shit is painful to watch right now. They just have to grab their balls and put their hard hats on REAL soon.

Might be a game good game just to sit out on Saturday

I know a few of my friends here are BIG Bee's fans and that this is a rough stretch for you guys... I feel for ya Buds.

AFTER your guys beat my Flyers  I was pulling hard for you last playoffs while visiting family back East in Philly. My Brother and I watched all the games and in the finals he had VaNucks because he can't support the team that knocks us out (but I'm a gambler and he is not)... Ha,ha,ha. I won a lot of cheesesteaks off of him.

These days suck because most teams are NOT able to keep a team together each season... let alone after winning a title. Even the Wings... who have probably a model organization... do not make the Finals each year with all thier constant success.

Whatever the problem is I hope the Bruins work it out for the better because the league is better when they are in the mix as a good team.

I just hope they lose ONE MORE GAME this Saturday... Sorry

    Boo and Wawa... PEACE

Underdogs lets also keep in mind that the Coyotes didn't have the calibre of team, specifically defense, that Bryzgalov will have in front of him come playoff time. When Kubina and Meszaros return, Philadelphia will have the best defense in the league, barnone. Six solid vets back there in Kubina, Grossman, Timonen, Carle, Meszaros and Coburn. Solid is the word right there to describe that unit.
