I don't know how many of you remember what opposing fans used to chant at the Rangers in the 80's in early 90's, but it was funny when they'd chant "1940!"

that 94 cup still pisses me off, new york oilers won that sucker.

In 5 games, the Sens have only once led in regulation. I'd be careful about calling that series over.

Whether it's over or not, I expect some 1994 chants from the crowd if the sens take a lead in game 6. Like LeRinkRat says, it was the best taunt in all of sports at the time.

I love when they play "the chicken dance" song @ Nassau and after the opening bars the whole crowd yells "The-Ran-gers-SUCK"

AND it makes NO difference WHO the Islanders are PLAYING that night. it's STILL "The-Ran-gers-SUCK"

hey potvin, 60 years from now, that will be 2072,  my grand-kids will be chanting 1984. the islanders my not make let playoffs by then let alone lord stanley.  what a fked up organization that is.........

and we must not forget the chants of denny potvin beats his wife, du da, du da, and potvin sucks.  must say the chants sound better when 18,500 people are chanting rather the 5,500 at that dump.

yes they will.  will win in 7. very young gritty team with alot of upside.    unlike another ny team.  and yes it was 1983, the oilers won in 84.  so yes it's been a year longer for you stiffs.
