Gonna be a tight down to the wire job id say. I love Emma Meeseman but France is deeper and has 2 of her European title winning Fenerbahce teammates including the excellent Gabby. They have girls like Johannes can come off the bench and fill it up from 3..plus they beat Germany easily who blew out Belgium.
But it has to be a money line play, probably a tight one. If you like the dog tho i also would suggest money line. Don't ask me to explain that.

Well it's only a 5 pt halftime deficit but it's obvious what the script is for this one as Meeseman has no fouls and is dominant on the boards France once again unlike the men's team never gets any calls they gave at least 3 to the entire frenchcourt which is bad enough
And then they also blew an 11 point 2nd quarter to lead to be losing at 5 at halftime that tells you the wheels are totally coming off and that girl Johnnes i talked about is missing all but 1 of her 3s and Gabby Williams has done absolutely nothing, shocking from her and there is no way France wins if she keeps staying this invisible

I said when I picked Belgium over Spain last time i thought Meeseman was gonna get a medal either bronze or silver. Should have stuck with that. Every time I lose it's with a team that had a double digit lead it's so sick.

Well after coming back and securing a 6 point lead with less than a minute left they can't close it out fouling on a 3 then turning it over and giving up another 3
I'm gonna lose in OT now for sure. You can't blow two leads in a game and win.
What a sh#tshow 6 point lead you have the game one as long as they don't get 2 3 point trips while you get nothing... the number one thing you cannot do is give up 3s, foul on 3s, turn it over and they DO ALL THREE of those.
One of the more scripted looking games I've ever seen. Just big runs alternating.

And after giving me all that agita they not only pull out the OT victory they cover the spread even tho they were up by less with more time in OT... Nothing makes sense any more in basketball. I'm still glad i took moneyline it certainly didn't look like they would win by 6 even when they had control with that same margin and less than a minute left.
I have now swept the board in the women's last round of games going 3-0 ATS and rounding it off with this moneyline pick.
It doesn't seem like many people are that interested in it though so I will just write my picks for the final/bronze matches here briefly. I haven't even seen the lines yet and I'm not quite sure who I'm taking in one of the games.
I won't be making a new thread so if this one disappears i might forget to post it. Hopefully not. The women's has been more profitable to me than the men's basketball. I didn't expect France to get to the silver in both.
The better betting potential may be in the Bronze medal games.
I'm trying to guess the lines I'm thinking USA by just over double digits maybe -12 or so and Belgium -4.5 over Australia

Australia getting blown out didn't help their cause they probably be close to 5.5 point dogs as the bookies seem to like setting the line around 5 in the Olympics
