England were clueless against the turning ball in Dubai but Sri Lanka do not possess the same class of slow bowling as the Pakis. There is doubt around Broad but still think the Poms are massive here, better prepared than the Lankans who have come off 3 months of ODI cricket.

personally i&#x27;d never back england to win in the sub-continent but then again i&#x27;ve been "traumatised" by years of collapses in the mid - 90&#x27;si still find it hard to see that england are a top side now

Unless they beat Sri Lanka in Colombo next week they officially won&#x27;t be the best team in test cricketThey way they struggle against the turning ball they don&#x27;t deserve to be either. Even a pretty average Australian team beat Sri Lanka last year in a test series in Sri Lanka
