Cadel has never won a TDF time trial and I don't see it today.
I look at value.
Schumacher is strong. Very strong. In 2006 Gonchar won both time trials. Schumacher is going for the second.
Sebastian Lang can time trial and is a very good time trialist. He proved it in 2006 that he can ride well in the third week. He's taken it easy over the mountains.
Kirchen came second 8 seconds behind Schumacher in the earlier time trial in this years tour and last year, showed a good showing and half those riders aern't there.

Scratch that McEwen play.
This is Zabel's swansong. His last tour. Will want to go out on a high. He wins this stage and retires. It's a fitting end to the champion from Germany and I belive in fitting ends.
The Credit Agricole, Milram and Columbia team trains have been solid this tour. Silence Lotto will be rusty as they havn't practiced it and may get a little lost with the pace from the 3 main teams.
I see Zabel, Ciolek and Hushovd 1 2 and 3 today.
