2013 Tim Horton's Brier

Hello, fellow curing fans, Brier time starts on Saturday and it is as good of field as we have seen in awhile. The Greek has some futures up, waiting on the rest.

I find the Brier personally my most profitable event and hope it will continue to be this year. I tip my hat to the Homan squad for beating the cagey veteran Jones in the final of the ladies.

Well, not a very attractive afternoon draw. I like all of the games under (Sask/BC the least) and for +275 will dabble a little on NO. Unless Pinny puts out some rock lines, the amount of plays might quickly dwindle as this week goes on.

Better afternoon, might have gotten the sweep if Menard opts to not take on in nine, but not complaining especially hitting NO at +275. Martin's team is in disarray at the moment.

Lots of people seem to be fooled by these rocks, so we will see if they get a better handle on them as the week goes on. 

This PEI team is something to behold, but at the sametime perhaps Quebec has a little let down this evening, so I took at little action on PEI at +2.5 +175 and also the over.

NB at +200 small, as I thought for the odds it was worth it.

Like NO -1.5  quite abit and the over medium.

NWT/NS over 12.5 is my bigger play. Good luck.

Like No/Ont under, large Sask/Mb under medium and then the BC game under small and NS/Alb over small.

For fun played NS at +600 and for value NO at +300. Greek has some crazy dog lines.

Lean to the overs in the afternoon, and since three of them were in the + range, decided to jump on them. Like the NWT/NFL and NB/Pei medium, Que/NO and Sask/NS smaller. Good luck all.

Totals not so good this afternoon, but glad Jacobs pulled it out.

My biggest plays for lines thus far are tonight.

Martin -2.5 -130

Howard -3.5 +107

Stoughton -1.5 +100

BC -137

Laying the wood on these, with Martin my biggest. For totals like Mb/Nfl over, PEI/BC over and Ontario/NB under, like them all pretty good.

Was hoping for some Pinny lines but no luck. I am on three overs, two of them at 11.5 on the Greek, that being Alb/Sask and Ont/Que with the big play on Bc/NS over.

Lines small on NO as a nice +300 dog bigger on BC at -125.

Down a little last night, hit the big total but not enough to offset my two losers. My lines ended up being a push, as I was much larger on BC.

Well first opportunity to middle a game.Pinny opened the Mb/NWT game at 11.5 and the Greek at 12.5, so I took advatage of that.

Like both BC/NB over and Ont/PEI over medium.

Was able to get NFL at +250 and BC at +232. Martin may win, but it is ridiculous to pass up Gushue at this money and Grattan, unless he is playing PEI, shouldn't be this big of fav against anyone else.

Like the Alb/NFl over, but not touching it at -140 juice.

Leafs, I have seen this act before, where Pinny has no lines the last draw, which just baffles me. I know Sports Interaction has lines, but the Greek is the next best thing to Pinnacle for Curling.

Well my top play sucked but the rest worked out pretty well. Nice hitting NWT.

Tonight, I have the following. Sask +350, Quebec in a letdown spot as in theory neither Mb nor NO should lose.

I like the under in the No/Ns game and Ont/Alb games medium, and the Mb/BC over small. and Que/Sask over small.
