Yes, the only time I use them is if I want to parlay a couple of heavy favs down.Oddly enough, they will have live in game some times when it comes to the final so keep an eye open for that.
Well as we move to the finals, I will admit I have a bias since I have futures on NO and Mb. I do think NO will beat Gushue, so I took that line but since then more money has come in on NFL.
I looked back at the last four briers and bronze medal game excluded, if the totals were 11.5 it would be 13-3 to the over. That is good enough for me, I will be on both. If you want to middle the Greek has 12.5 on the Ont/Mb game and Pinny has 11.5.

Sorry, I couldn't respond for the final, as I was away on a trip. I was thrilled to see Jacobs and Stoughton in the final, as it was a win, win either way. I was happy to see Jacobs win, they played well.
World Women's starting and Pinny opened the USA ladies at -135 and it is now -250, Greek opened it at a pickem which I was luckily enough to get and now is at -180. Crazy.
I am on the under in the Germ/Russ game and the over in the China/Den and Swiss/Japan game. Outside of the states (would never play them at the price they are now) I am also on China at even.
This is ladies, so tread at your own risk.
For futures on Scotland medium and Swiss small as a dark horse.

Wow, based on some of these linescores off of draw 1, I might have to stay away from many unders this week. I can't believe Italy kept playing.
Hit my biggie with the States and sawed the other four off. If China doesn't bounce back in game two they could be good fade material.
Draw 2 on Sweden over 11.5 and protected it by taking them -3.5 both large. Also on Italy/Swiss over 11.5 big and China/Russia over medium 12.5.
Small on Scot +200 and Russia -1.5.

1-2 on the large, 0-1 on the medium and 2-0 on the small, all still spells a loss. That Sweden game was painful, one point either way for a split.
Middle of the night draw on the USA small, Den/Japan over large and Japan small for +300.

Playoff time. Didn't post much this week as tough to handicap, when games aren't being played on Canadian soil so the over seas time zones don't allow for much spectating.
Last four years, if you went to all tie break and playoff games a total of 12.5 would produce 16 overs and 8 unders. Despite this, I am taking Swiss/Russia under in the first game at even money. Also in a game where I would lay Russia as a slight fav, the chance to grab the Swiss at +175 is a good in my books so I am on it.

Well, split the first tie breaker, but will gladly take the +175 as the win and the +100 as the loss.
Small play on the second tie breaker on the Swiss at +120 and the under at -105.

Another split in tie breaker number two. I will be on Canada and the under pretty healthy.
As for the 1-2 matchup, I think Scotland's best chance is a more conservative game, but whether she takes that route remains to be scene. Sweden holds a 5-2 all time head to head record against her and some of those wins (including this week) have been pretty decisive.
As I have a future on Scotland, no play on the game other than a medium wager on the total, over.

As painful a curling loss as I can remember. Not sure why Rachel tried the shot she did in 5, to give up the steal instead of the easy draw to go up 5-2, but nonetheless two up coming home and we have a relatively easy double to win our bet, which she misses. Then Erika makes a great tap back, which I still can't believe she made to sit two. This leaves Rachel a hit to win the game and she misses clipping the back one by an inch and gives the States one to cost the rockline a win. Such is life.
The history of the semi game, is a 4-0 to the over, but presently the under is sitting juiced to -146. I get it.... because of the hitting abilities, of these two skips to bail their team out of trouble. Head to head, Eve leads 3-2 and all five have been under.
To me this game becomes the battle of the thirds, as I think Rachel and Eve are neck and neck with their abilities. I lean Canada, but I have no interest in playing them at -135 without the hammer in the first end. I am riding the under, which I was able to get at -130, when it first came out.
Remember, the Bronze Medal game will be in the wee hours of the morning, so when they pop this line out, hit the over hard. If you have followed my posts over the years, this has been found money. It is not a guarantee, but between the Brier, Scotties and Worlds, it must be hitting at least at an 80% clip. 15-19-15-13 are the last four scores of the bronze medal game. I like to take the Dog in these games also, I will be more apt to do so if USA is playing Scotland as opposed to Canada. Good luck.

Some closing thoughts, Bronze medal game auto play for me USA and over huge. Greek opened at +260 on the States. I get a seasoned team that on paper should lose, but after Homan losing the way she did, this is a nice price tag against her.
Gold Medal game, Sweden tries to bounce back after losing on a great shot to Ott last year. I like the over as both teams I think will mix it up and at the line on Eve, who is playing so well I don't feel there is anything wrong with taking them at +146. See you next week on the Men's world to conclude the season.

Men's Worlds starts today and a few quick thoughts on it.
For futures I have three Scotland +450 as my main wager, small on Denmark +2000 and put enough on Sweden should they win to what I put on these two.
Opening Draw, I really like China/Can over and China +2.5, along with a small sprinkling of China +600. Also really like Nor/Czech under 12.5. Medium on Swe -2.5 and small on Czech +2.5 and the Swe/Fin under.
