What a strange weekend this is working out to be. It's so unappealing that the Footy Live app didn't even do a write-up on the game last night. And what a cracker it was, geez. Roos have to feel good about a game plan in a rematch next week.
Anyway, on to today. The game of the weekend has sparked a lot of debate, with very compelling cases to be made for each side winning. I liked the Crows laying 13.5 points early in the week against the Cats at home. Then I had serious doubts for days after the points made about the Cats' motivation from senior players going off for one last hurah before the home crowd. That motivation is real. And the home crowd support is significant. But I just keep coming back to how the Crows are playing now, and I put them (personally) in the top 4 (Freo, Haw, WCE, WB), okay 5. Momentum is fully on their side, having obliterated 4 opponents since embarrassing loss to Swans. Confidence, momentum, and a chip on the shoulder from Roos' decision, and maybe a little "win it for Phil" happening. Cats, on the other hand, two straight inexplicable disapponting showings. Sorry, but everything says this should be a 3 goal win for the Crows, and I'm only having to lay a shade over 1 goal. Play: Crows -6.5
Now that the Swans have their head and heart back into the game, and are motivated to lock the top 4 spot, have to play what they deliver on most at home, against a significantly inferior team. They are playing loose and confidently. Plays: Swans 1Q Line - 12.5, 1H Line -25.5
I also like Hawks to cover -71.5 against Blues, and will probably throw 50 on it, but that's all for me today.
Good luck all, and most importantly, enjoy the match! #CatsDoggies :)

I forgot that Sport, but wasn't criticising, just lamenting with you. It was a disappointing match to watch. That's all. Yes, i too can't wait for the rematch.

Good night for the Faves last night. Played the Eagles, 1Q and 1H, as well as hitting 2 of 3 quarter-lines (1st and 3rd, lost the 2nd).
Anyway, just throwing 50 bucks on a couple of plays today as I don't see much value.
Melbourne v. GWS (ES) Dees will bring some confidence off their finish last week at Dockers, and the Giants from blanking the Blues. I like the first play more than the second. Both teams are challenged scoring, and recently have done poorly at the start. Last 6 games 1Q averages for Melb (17) and GWS (15) indicate a 1Q total well under 40. I think Dees might also win. The second play I mentioned early in the week, when the line was Dees +17.5. That's now down to +9.5, which feels about right. I think they clear it and might even win, but not enough to throw 50 on it. Play: 1Q Total U 42.5
Collingwood v. Essendon Match line feels about right at -29.5. Think Pies win by a few goals more than that. Just a better team, though Dons will come out fighting. Think the first half could go any which way. I like the Pies putting it away in the 2nd. Play: Pies 2H line -12.5
