pies @ $1.88 H2H swan v judd @ $1.80 also a small multi on pies/titans/manly @$2.47
hawks had alot to play for last week smashing pies. i will give pies another go, if they stop fevola and judd. pies should win.
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY
These two sides have played some outstanding matches in recent years,
with the outcomes not always predictable despite their places on the
ladder.
Collingwood hit a speed hump last week in the form of a rejuvenated
premier but expect the Pies to bounce back. Mick Malthouse's side,
while carrying some sore bodies, will be desperate to show the footy
world last week was merely a blip on the radar. Collingwood had been in
stellar form before last week's second half, its ability to share the
football and goals a feature. The backline, led by Simon Prestigiacomo,
has also been underrated throughout 2009.
Carlton's form over the past month makes for decent reading but isn't
as convincing as Collingwood's. The Blues' youngsters are definitely on
the up and one can't fault their endeavour. But when the pressure
really gets turned up a notch – as it will be in front of more than
70,000 at the MCG on Friday night – one thinks the Pies just might be
better equipped to handle it.
PREDICTION
Collingwood by 18 points
guys big plays on the hawks +17.5 and kangaroos +37.5 i think hawks r playing gud footy at the momentand will keep it close, maybe win. roos also will keep it close as lions lost bradshaw and i expect brennan wont play. roos has been great without winning. losing not by more than a few goals.
