Despite a 2-2 week we ended up well ahead thanks to both larger plays hitting in Eagles and Pies.
This week:
Hawthorn Hawks -12.5 against Sydney Swans
I'm hoping Rioli comes back this week and like this small line with one of the best sides in history. Sure the loss of Hodge and Roughead from this side are big but Hawks play the MCG very well and often rise above and beyond against strong opposition.
Think the Hawks forward line is way too quick and damaging for what the Swans will be able to handle.
GWS Giants -17.5 against Western Bulldogs
Giants are unstoppable at home; they've already dismantled the Hawks and Cats there and I can see the same against the Dogs. Dogs were very impressive early in the season but I feel they've dropped off slightly, GWS on the other hand have to be the in-form team of the competition. They are just relentless and explosive and their senior players are all performing and their youngsters are all guns.
Also lean Demons against Lions but not official yet.

Hawks look like a shadow of their former selves to start this season but the loss of Roughead and Hodge leaves a bit of a gap.
They are just too well drilled and play the G too well so a line of 2 goals I'm happy to snap up when I know they can beat any good team by 40+ points on their day.

Really like this one. Think Worsfold and the coaching staff really need to look at their performance against the Roos and realise that when they play risky, non stop fast footy they can really trouble oppositions. Don't think Saints will mind matching them toe to toe.
Fast end to end footy under the roof. Points points points!

Adding:
Saints/Ess OVER 180.5 pts

I was close and whilst not making excuses because a lost bet is a lost bet, it was looking like getting there for a lot of the last quarter.
What did the Bombers finish on? 62 points?
Just hard not to imagine how in 4 quarters of football a team can't kick more than 60 points at Etihad Stadium in perfect conditions when you can get the ball from one end of the ground to the other in 3 kicks.
