Careful tonight everyone. I do believe the women's side has been decided and it will be Canada/Switzerland in one semi-final and Sweden/China in the other. Sweden & Canada will have last rock.

And are we seriously headed to a Murdoch/Martin semi-final? That is almost as crazy as a Canada/Russia quarter-final in hockey...

I actually think Sweden wins outright but I have major futures on China so I'm kinda hoping to have my cake and eat it too. Same with Canada as I'll be rooting for a 1 point Bernard victory.

I like both of those plays Ang. I think both games are a toss up, so grabbing an extra point is huge. Good luck.

5Dimes is where I played it as it was like -550 or something at Pinny. I must have moved the line (or someone else did just after me).

Y'know, I want to make a play on Sweden today, but something is holding me back. I'm really thinking the play today is on Canada. If you look at all the playoffs thus far, there has been no team that has stepped up and beaten a team they lost to in the round robin.

Men:
Sweden beat Great Britain in round robin, Sweden wins tiebreak.
Norway beat Switzerland in round robin, Norway wins semi-final.
Canada beat Sweden in round robin, Canada wins semi-final.

Women:
Sweden beat China in round robin, Sweden wins semi-final.
Canada beat Switzerland in round robin, Canada wins semi-final.
China beat Switzerland in round robin, China wins bronze medal.

Of course, that last one hasn't happened yet, but is well on its way. Canada destroyed Sweden in the round robin and I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen again. I say Bernard is the play.

Im leaning Sweden +1.5 (-139) as even tho Canada won big time vs Sweden in the round robin, Canada have only won by more than 1pt 2 times during the olympics... Also leaning Sweden ML, but you state a good point. Some teams matches up with others realy good and just know how to beat them...

I was leaning Sweden +1.5 as well. But my recent analysis and the fact that Pinny has been down all day...well, I'm going to take it as a sign that Bernard is the play.

What a fucking choke job by Bernard. I knew that would happen too. I faded her all week long and I finally back her and she loses. Not really mad she lost, just mad at the way she lost. That game was hers and she completely blew it.

I feel the same way Angelus, my buddy and I had canada to win gold..........In the tenth she need one simple f'in takeout, a shot she could hit 100 stragith times, to win gold and end the streak since 98 and she chokes.

What a bitch.

I cant fucking believe it. How do you let the defending champs just walk away with gold because of missing 2 shots that only needed to be decent. Unreal.

Well, last night hurt. Lost 4 units on a game that should have never been lost. I'm still bitter.

But today, I get it back. Because Martin & his team have been waiting for this moment for 4 years and they are not going to choke it away like Bernard.

Sry to say it, but im against you yet again as I see a ton of value on Norway (just as on Sweden..) I just can't pass up on the Norway +1.5 as in their previous matchup they went to extra "innig" where Canada won by 1... Also im taking a smal bet on Norway ML with that line as you never know if you get another Canadian choke here + it's not that big of a diffrence between the teams as the line shows..
