Bolar's statement is a gross over statement. i don't belong seven levels below rod.
i have made healthy money off both netball seasons so far, but i used to make healthy money of nbl a few seasons back and got mauled this season and last.
i don't post for people to follow so much as to generate discussion. jive turkey, MB and a few others know as much if not more.
netball is beatable with a little attention because there is only a couple of weirdos like me and JT looking at it. the books don't put much effort in and you get lines like the above which are way off in my opinion.
Firebirds to make top 4 $2.25 1u

Mystics are way stronger on paper than last year, although Henry is questionable and from what the coach said might play a quarter or not at all. Their results in the preseason were terrible. Think it could be like the league teams that bring in 5 new players and wonder why their is no chemistry. Last seasons the Mystics best was not far off anyones, but they went missing for long periods often in the fourth quarter blowing big leads. They have the parts but it may take a while. Also the overhang of never beating an Australian side.
The Jamaican shooter Thunderbirds have added is meant to be the business, she was arguably best in the world before she went to play basketball. The problem is their best two shooters are talls and playing both is not the done thing, although they appear to have done it with some success in the preseason.
Mystics v Thunderbirds over 97.5 1u
Speculative but:
- round 1 scoring wasn't significantly lower last season
- Mystics have the mid court players to move the ball around quickly and effectively and potentially better shooting than last season
- Mystics scored 50+ in 5 of their 6 home games last season
- Mystics played 126 total with the Steel in their last trial

Lot of tricky factors as I see it.
