although they could probably just stand there and 'shoulder arms' and it would have the same effect !

I'm about to smash my tele. The Australian Cricket hierarchy has become so smug, so complacent, so stuck in the past that it is only the talent of individuals that keep us competing.
Back of a length, outside off, yada yada..
ATTACK THE FUCKING STUMPS!
There is this theory I heard that maybe, just maybe, it might be a good strategy to make the opposition openers have to play the ball early in their innings.

talk to meeeee ! Infact, I think I said this very same thing a couple of pages back in this thread during the first test.
We're like fucking robots, completely programed to bowl that "meat and potatoes" corridor.
But the funniest thing will be in a few more overs when the ball starts to go "reverse", our guys are so fcuking stupid they either won't realise it's happening or won't know what the fuck to do with it
Australia has the least skillfull bowling attack of just about any in the world at the moment imo.

....or, 6-364
I'll take that after the disaterous start. Hopefully we can keep them under 450 tonight.
Punter needs 33

but I have no doubt he'll bowl about three (3) snorters in his 20-odd overs of utter shit this innings and end up with three or so wickets.
yep, couldn't agree with me more on that one
That was one of the most hapless displays I've ever seen from an Australian fast bowler. Probably one of the worst "two-fors" in test cricket
go back to grade cricket and get your bowling arm above 45 degrees you pie chucking pretender

Crash, bang, wallop!
What a start by Australia!
Strauss bowled second ball of the day, Siddle get's his bitch Swann and then Hilfy gets rid of Broad.
3 in 15 minutes for the boys
Hilfenhaus has 4

There's still a mountain in front of Australia mate, but maybe, just maybe

If Australia do manage to win this, him having that smug fucking look wiped off his face would be priceless
