righto, here we go, 89 points on the board with 2:20 to go til the half.
 
now watch them stuff at least 15 in the hole before the buzzer. The last 2 mins of every quarter are always the worst when you're on an under.

I swear the stats can really lie at times.

Having watched the first half, would anyone honestly think the 36'ers put up 48 shots in that first half ?

48 shots! That's up there in the Golden State realm.

They will go for broke from 3 point range, if they're on, the total soars over.

Rillie 0-4 from 3 point range. Doubt if that continues.

In other words, I can't believe Adelaide is almost on track for the "holy grail" of run and gun basketball - the 100+ shots game.
 
The great majority of this game appears to have been played in the half court

the full game under is on borrowed time according to the stats. 36'ers shooting is about on par, while the Crocs are well below ave.

law of averages says Townsville, at least, shoots the rock better in this half, and both teams start to connect a little more frequently from deep.

Exactly, Sixers put up 48 shots, Crocs hit just 16% of 3 balls and yet they still put up 96 points  Whilst Adelaide lead, Crocs have to chase and I think Adelaide keep running whilst they're in front.
