It was lost in the last corner, but as the footage showed, don't write off Cav wherever he is. He is a fast man.
 
Doubling the stake tonight.
 
 If it wasn't for those fucking corners, Cav would have won. Another stage for sprinters and he's the fasest of the bunch there. If they work for him again, it's his.

I remember having Vino to win a stage of the Tour when he was very young and he lost be a similar margin. He was 66-1.

Although it is a long downhill run the last 15 or so kms I think a breakaway could be the go.

After reading that Simoni won on this finish in 2003 and came second in 1999, I'm increasing my stake on him.

$350 each way on Simoni $6.50/$2.25

Also taking a few outrights

Simoni to take the Giro @ $10 - get on him now at this price before it goes in.

Cavendish to take the points @ $36 - small play. Cavendish wants to fight through to the end. He has 25 points - 1 ahead of Bennati who is favourite. I feel this is worthy of a small play!

Vaitkus E/W $14/$4
 
Outside of Boonen, Vaitkus and Davis are the best sprinters there. Value in these dogs.

Cav came second - so I got him for the place. He should have won, but he did the unselfish thing and toyed with the field.

Davis came second so his place got up too. So a winning day.

Simoni E/W $6.50/$2.20 - there is a rumour going around apparently that Simoni and Ricco are going to work together today. If they do, Ricco will let Simoni get the stage win as he will be in pink.
