I know it's away from home but Perth should be far too good for the wild cats, anyone see this game differently

Yeah I rarely back teams that are one up in game two as the motivation is heavily with their opponents, but the fact Perth has lost twice to the blaze in this building this season makes me think they won't be taking the night off, especially after blowing a 21 pt lead on their last visit in december

Tried to cap this game and ladder on NBL home page won't work for me. What are Perth like on the road and Gold Coast like @ home?

After some quick numbers the Wildcats do seem to look good, apart from the top team the Breakers they are holding the other teams they played to an average of 70.5 points over 6 games

I went on a few basketball forums and if I include this thread 12 out of 13 people chose Perth to beat the Blaze tonight even though they are a dog

What about the total?

Werent the Blaze a scoring overs machine..Then all of a sudden became the 90's pistons in terms of defense?

Yeah the under looks like maybe a better bet. There is some guy with a calf injury though for the Blaze , not that I know, Im just a degen looking for a play

 

Gold Coast’s charge in the second half of the regular season was based on physical pressure defence.

But there was very little of that to be seen in their semi-final series opener, as the Wildcats were allowed to move the ball quickly and get the shots they were looking for.

In the decisive second quarter, Perth averaged one ball rotation per halfcourt set, scoring on eight of those 13 occasions in compiling 29 points for the term.

There was no doubt the Blaze missed Adam Gibson’s on-ball pressure as he was limited by his calf injury, but the rest of the roster needs to be more aggressive against the iiNet NBL’s highest-scoring team.

They run a sh*t load of pick an rolls so it is possible, but that is great shooting

When i was into the NBL, the key thing with perth is there tempo.....

They play pressure defense, there guards play full court defense, meaning a much quicker tempo....Are they still the same?
