NSW will not have the services of Warner or Hughes again and their batting total will suffer accordingly.  They will rely on Bollinger to take wickets, but the Vics batting lineup is strong and should be able to take advantage even without White and Hussey.

impressive call on QLD the other night, as you suggested WA batting was poor.

Thanks Binomial, from what I can deduct, this form of the game has a lot to do with batting form - there isn't long enough for a player to bat themselve into form - and the WA team has been in trouble all year with respect to their top order.  A team needs at least one player to make a half century in good time to post a competitive target.  I believe that the batting of Hodge, Blizzard, Quiney and Crosthwaite should be enough to get the Vics home tonight.

Agree. Was tempted to take NSW at the odds, but the Vic's bowling should be able to well and truly contain the weakened NSW batting line-up

Also think the added pressure of needing to win will work against the Blues.  The Vics will play their natural game, they have been in great form, and I see no reason why they can't demolish the Blues with the bat and ball.

Problem is if Hodge gets out early, the vic batting line up looks thin.

Would be smart if Vic win toss and bat 2nd, let the strong bowling attack to do it's job, Blues would be feeling the pressure to put up a big score leading to some rash shot selection.

I have the Vics ml, will put more on them after toss if they bat 2nd.
