The Blaze were held scoreless in OT? Surely that can't be right  

Bad luck Miracle I too learned the hard way that the Blaze are garbage

Crazy crazy crazy game on the Gold Coast tonight.
 
Blaze were toying with a dead mouse for the first half and a bit, then they seemed to realise how easy they doing it, easy mistake I guess when you look up and see NBL luminaries like Brebner, Vale, Cook and Williams guarding you  
 
The Blaze start settling for jump shots, the Taipans get some cheapies inside to "fumbles" Crosswhite, the margin narrows, Cattalini starts going bananas and suddenly the Taipans are in front.
 
Snakes played some tremendous defense down the stretch, got a couple of 24 second violations and it was only a turnover or two right at the death and one of the most ridiculously lucky clutch three pointers from Pero that got the game to OT.
 
But the Taipans picked up where they left off in OT, kept getting easy makes inside, cat and boody spot up for a couple of jumpers and it's curtains.
 
One of the biggest things that stuck in my mind though was just how far the standard of play in this league has plummetted, this season at least.

Very ugly last night, usually I believe in certain spots plays in most sports, you just have to wait for the 'right' one.  As per Jive above the Blaze played shit in the second half, simple as that so I still believe the spot was there, just picked the wrong team to handle the situation...after all the Blaze are still bottom of the table, this would have been like taking the Slingers in the same spot last year
 
And how bad were the Tigers last night in the last Quarter
