NBL Round 2

3 of the 4 games were Friday night. I nothing stood out for me so I didn't play anything. I did think unders and 2 of the 3 did come in. It's still early in a season and it's showing.

The only bet that interested me was the Cats to win. This is is huge value with the only justification being the Cats won big in NZ. Travelling 2 weeks in a row is huge but not as bad as coming from Russia.

The Cats are the best team in the comp at the moment. They are a true team with great chemistry. They have been together for a while and knew a long time before this game that it was going to happen. The reason for the long travel is that their new stadium isn't ready.

The Crocs get their imports. So they have had a week and a half to become familiar. I think the Crocs should be OK this year but they have to be around that 5th spot at the end of the year.

Cats ML or anything under 4 is value. I expected a 5 point line and I still would have played it. If you check the stats, the Cats normally win comfortably.

I got hammered on the Aussies not covering the Rugby League. This one is going to be the rest of my account.

Well it seems to be an obvious pick that the bookies have wrong. The Crocs started favourites... so I feel it's just a correction. The bookies have access to information I don't.

I could do with some luck after getting smashed over the last couple of days.

1st game i have watched this year....i never thought the standard could get worse, i was wrong..

What an embarresment to the game of basketball these people are....

No wonder the league is going broke...

And i just checked the market, and unders were hit very very hard in this game...and surprise surprise, miss after miss after miss after turniver after turnover, bodies banging lef tright and centre with hardly any fouls called.

That was arguably the worst half of basketball i have ever seen, and i mean ever seen.....

All the talent is overseas...i cant believe how poor this comp has become, and i mean really really bad

I was confident at half time so I went Cats and Over 150... I expected the Crocs to put up more than 20 points in the second half. What was I thinking!

Rostos, PC and Jacob were injured. Hinder never had his head in the game. Abney got old.

The worst thing I felt was the brains of the coaching. You are down by 10 so instead of calling a time out or trying to take chances with full court pressure, you let them continue with what they are doing and let them get out to a 20 point lead. The Crocs should send their new imports home and save money this year.

Abney isn't up to it, having watched him in the NZNBL. Braswell in the same boat and even to a greater extent.

Rostos any word on when tryouts are for one of these squads next year? I'll try to crack the roster so I can give you the fix
