- second home game and 7 days rest for the Mystics versus a five day break for firebirds plus it is their second trip to NZ in a fortnght
-- Mystics played well in parts last week only going down by 4 and winning the second half 33 to 25. the week before they played pretty well only going down by 2 at the steel.
- firebirds have been poor in the past two weeks and short rest plus the coaches job being advertised during the week suggests they may not get their act together
- i have australian teams playing in nz 2 out of 7 against the spread, with the two covers being by half a goal and a goal
Fever +7.5 1u
- long way to travel
- Magic were terrible on their last trip to Australia
- Fever handled the Steel pretty easily at home
on the other handled fever have been mauled by the better defensive teams adelaide and melbourne so could have trouble with the magic. still getting 7.5 with the no nz team ....

I had this Fever v Magic game pegged at about -5 / -6 for the Magic, and the line is near enough to that, but a sellout crowd at Challenge Stadium makes that +6.5 look a little bigger for the Fever.
I'd also completely overlooked the fact they're still in the running for the top four

Survived the Mystics folding in the fourth quarter - up 7 mid way through only to implode again.
Pulse +9.5 1u
Pulse v Swifts over 105.5 1u
Pulse have copped some horrific beatings of late, although they played pretty well during two quarters last week.
Pulse have had alot of trouble scoring against the better defensive teams like magic and thunderbirds: 36, 35 and 40 but have scored respectable totals against the other teams.
Swifts defence seems to largely consist of throwing the ball back to the centre after it has gone through the net. They have condeded an average of 60 in regular time over the last five weeks.
Pulse have given up 65.5 per game over the last 4.
Looks like a shootout to me and I think the Pulse can be in it if they don't make too many silly mistakes.
Second last who haven't won for seven weeks, away at last giving 9.5 is too tempting.
