Till the start of the NBL season...........

Looking at the squads, some really weak squads.........how r they gonna score? UNDER.....

The 3 point line has been moved back as well = under

Are they still 10 minute quarters?

I have a feeling the Kings might win it overall.

yeah 10 min qtrs........dont know why they changed it...........

12 min was heaps heaps better........

The tigers look pretty weak, Anstey gone, Wortho gone and Hodge gone as well.....They get Wade Halliwell, but he was a pretty average center when playing for the bullets......

I am hearing Kirk penney didnt make it to the NBA, so he will probably be back

or less emphasis on clanking outside shots for more of an inside focus - points in the paint

moved the three point line, changed the shape of the key, to fit the FIBA standards

Yep The Spurs don't want Penney, not official yet, but will be in the next day or two.

obviously disappointing for him but from a selfish point of view I'll be glad to see him back running around in the NBL because he adds a lot to the league.

Far nicer to see him here putting up 20+ a night than getting thrown the odd scrap in the junkiest of junk time for the spurs

Yeah agree.....and guy is a class act both on and off the court. Something not too common, we need more like him.

I dont think thr HAWKS will climb under the radar this year, they will be targeted

Guys I just heard Steven Nash has quit Phoenix and is going to play for Kings. He was quoted in the media as saying "I'm sick and tired of being confused as an American". Alvin Gentry was quoted as saying to Nash's departure "I wish him all the best but I hope he is not disappointed. The Austrian league is not as competitive as the NBA".

Guys just got this from Sports Tonight. NBL Commissioner Bruce Spangler has announced a new drive to encourage indigenous to take up basketball. "We need more abos playing basketball. We want to more success stories like LeBron James who went from your normal Redfern Block kid into the greatest abo to ever play in the NBA". Spangler continued "We know the indigenous children are put off by Sam Cassell's face, we know they are put of by the boring nature of the NBL. But they can change all that".

What would u guys say if i said i am pretty good friends with the brother of one of the Kings players..........I dont really know the player himself, i have met him one or two times, but am good friends with his brother........

Is that pushing it if i said this?

Rostos, on facebook alone I'm friends with about seven current and former nbl players, and one current coach. But the difference between you and me is, THIS will be the first and last time I mention it
