How high did the total get in-play? Looks like I might have missed a great under.
I was sceptical about this game hence the smaller play on it, but hope the books react and post totals in the 160's again. This was a one off. Looking at the matches over the weekend, I can't see another high scoring one to be honest.
This wouldn't be unlike the last time the Kings played. They went on crazy offensive runs and the books adjusted. Thereafter most of the games played under. Then again that was a pretty fucked season with totals of 225+ and games with 7 technicals in a row

You see last night in the NBA, there was a stand alone NBA game - pre season......
The total got absolutely hammered - the under....
Cause it was an 11am game, yes 11 am game and the game was being played in a high school gym where NBA players unfamiliar with surroundings traditionally struggle to shoot.
Also, there was word Geral Wallace (Cats leading scorer) was out or playing extremely limited minutes.....
Also, the 2 teams have been playing very low scoring games throughout.....You see, that shit i understand, there were theories around that that u could see...
I am still struggling to understanding what the reasoning behind the extrodinary interest was behind the Perth NZ game for the over.........And the week before, the extreme interest in the under in the Perth Adelaide game.......that both were locked in after one qtr.
I just cant believe people really think EVERYTHING in life is above board and everyone plays to the rules especially in this industry...
Just like the ICB INVESTIGATED the pakistan cricket team and found NOTHING
Just like the NRL INVESTIGATED the cows match with the roosters last year and found NOTHING
Just like the NRL and police will find NOTHING in the Tandy incident......
Only God knows what else happens that we dont know.......At the end of the day, u can be certain of one thing, where money is involved, there is always going to be evil there, thats just a fact of life

The Breakers averaged around 179 points from memory last season in there home games, why is it so hard to believe mugs would jump on a Breakers over @156.5?

I was leaning over in the days leading up to that game. It was only the NZ timezone and my hectic work schedule that caused me to miss some ezi moniez

Last year, the Breakers had kirk Penney - the most prolific scorer in the league.....
The 3 point line was "in"
Take Kobe out of the Lakers,
Takle Durant out of new Orleans
Take Norwitzki out of Dalls etc etc and there scoring drops significantly...
Penney' impact is just as pronounced as the onces i mentioned above, if not more

Breakers can score 83 points on the road without Kirk Penney in front of 8000 maniac Sydney Fans but its a shock to the system when they put up points again at home the following week.

by that argument you basically concede that every bet you make is a complete coin-flip.
you leave it to the gambling gods?
Look at the NBA, with Tim Donaghy........he got busted by accident.......They werent even investigating him, it was a total accident that they found out what he was doing.......
How didnt the NBA know about? Or did they?
Its like the NRL salary cap, its extremely difficult to detect and PROVE
You guys dont think the ICB knew exactly what Pakistan was doing?

Breakers were even bigger maniacs on offense in the 2008/09 season when there were 12 min quarters, crazy amount of points put up.

153 points scored last week away from home but its the biggest shock of
all time when the game flies over 156.5 when the whole world knows the
Breakers are 25 lengths better offensively at home?

Breakers 83
Kings 70

Point 1 - Sydney had very very heavy legs from the night before as evident by there bad shooting, u expect them to cover in defence?
Point 2 - You are comparing Sydneys defence to Perth the defending champs?
Point 3 - How much did Perth score 3 days earlier (the PUBLIC also "PICKED" the pathetic shooting that night also )
Point 4 - If this total hit 160-165 in the last couple of minutes then fair enough.......But the total basically hit after the 3rd qtr.......Left nothing to chance........
You see, what everyone is NOT understanding, massive line movements are ALL the time in response to information....Look at the last NRL game the drags had against the Rabbits at Kograh on that Sunday night.........there were a tone of late changes, Soward, Ho0rnby etc, the public thought the drags would struggle to score with there halves out.....The public got it wrong. But u understand the rational behind the movement......
There was none last night

Oh dear, you obviously can't remember how many points the Wildcats gave up on the road last season
87 points per game was the average
Since when was giving up 87 points per game in 10 mins quarters considered good defense?
