That was the NBL at its best. The NBL just shoots itself in the foot everytime they put Cairns on TV. They are a horrible advertisement for basketball...

Kerry Williams is probably one of the fastest players in the world and he walks the ball up the court on every possesion??? Great coaching.....

If Phil Jones didnt throw that game away then i am not here, he wasnt just missing the rim, they were genuine bricks, also missed 2 free throws, he is 93% free throw shooter????

Grabau misses everthing from 3 point range?? I mean he missed it way way to the side, not like common airballs way they fall short...

Something really stinked in that game...

Cairns has always struggled to score points. Apart from a season or two when they had Catalini, Boodnikoff, Mee and Burgess all firing, they've been a dour, grinding team.

I've always thought that club had a poor culture in terms of the players' body language ect. Every group they've had has looked sooky and sullen on the court and in time outs ect.

Really amazes me how blokes like Gary Boodnikoff and a couple of others maintain a gig in the NBL.

gl, my only concern with this is the Blaze coming off a couple of ego-boosting wins against perth. they can probably name their preferred winning margin tonight but imo might be a little inclined to take their foot off the gas against the hapless snakes

That Cats one hurt, Williamson hits a hail mary as time expires to get Crocs the backdoor cover.
