Ecoute...I'll have a crack. From a personal point of view I like the way Rod goes about his business, but I find alot of the times I miss his capping of games purely on the basis that most selections for the NBL is right before game time, well....not much before on most occasions.
I simply wanted to know when he makes the selections and 'IF' possible could they be posted a little earlier? (Simply...how can anyone ask the question without sounding rude as Rod is doing 'ME' a favour by posting in the first place!)
If there is a better way of asking for a 'favour' in the abovementioned then I'm more then happy to listen. I've been on this site now for about 6 months and appreciate Rod's capping, and hence tried to put the question the best way possible. I could even understand if he didn't was to respond to anymore of my comments after the above.
Hopefully that clear's up some of the confusion...if possible.

Miracle,
Firstly not sure why you hesitated to ask me this question earlier, I'm far from being offended.
I try to post my plays as early as I can, however over the past 2 weeks especially its harder morseso because I am currently in the other side of the world therefore am fighting time difference most of the time. When I'm in Australia if you look back at the earlier rounds I thought I did post my plays hours before tip off.
If I do post plays late its no intentional. Some of my capping involves looking at line movements hence I need to see where anylate money is headed before pulling the trigger. Classic example was last night's under. Plenty of people were hitting up the total on the back of thinking Slingers would replicate the fast tempo style from Wednesday when they played the Pigs. I liked the under anyway however wanted to wait to get a better line with my book which I ended up doing hence the reason I posted 25min before tip off yesterday.

As to Saturday I can tell you right off the bat that my best play will be laying 12.5 with the Blaze.
Fundamentally this has the hallmarks for a shellacking by the Blaze:
- Slingers on an emotional high after getting their first road win in 12 attempts last night now have to back up on the road against a very strong home team. Don't be suckered into biting at the big line, the fact remains the Slingers are one of the worst road teams in the history of the NBL. Last night's result doesn't change that.
- Slingers playing their 3rd game in 5 nights, Blaze are coming into this game on 2 weeks rest. One could say that 2 weeks is too long however this is a Brendan Joyce coached team, you know he will have bashed his players to the ground in training this week.
- Motivational edge clearly with the home team especially after the Taipans loss last night. Blaze can now move into outright 4th spot if they beat the Slingers tonight. Also there certainly won't be any complaceny from the Blaze even if they do build a big lead during the game - we saw last night the Slingers pulling back an 18 point defecit. If they have a similar DD lead early in the game expect them to really drive home the advantage.

So far have only played the Blaze, passed on both earlier games.
Possibly make a play in the 9pm AEST games but still looking into both of them.

Blaze -12.5 =
o200.5 Crocs v Hawks =
Dragons +9.5 =
I underestimated the absence of Melmeth for the Blaze. But props to the Slingers for again coming back from a large early deficit, that's the last time I fade them on a big start.
