As I was saying. Australia's inability to close out a second innings is apalling.

Draw written all over it though if England can get a lead 250, it wouldn't surprise me if they take 10 wickets on the last day.

Agree with Underground, haven't been heard from Ace with all he said above.

What about Hussey? I reckon his performance was a one off. He's saved his test career with that hundred and will now go back to scoring like shit.

If England bowled first, this would be a different story and Australia would be bowled out by lunch on day 5.

Strauss's 19th  Test  Century.

Joins  Sir Leonard Hutton at equal 6th place in the all time list of England Century makers.


It also ended a run of 13 tests for him without a 3 figure score, the last been at Lords 2009 Ashes win.

 Johnson to Trott, 5 wides, 129.1 kph, oh. Dear. Wow. That's Mitchell Johnson at his worst. He's around the wicket and bangs it in short, with such angle that it sprays about three metres down leg side, Brad Haddin has no hope of getting to that. One of the worst deliveries I've seen for a while, perhaps since the first ball at this very ground four years ago.
