I'm struggling to come up with the apt words to describe what transpired last night. But needless to say I don't even think Kenya could've folded as meekly as our pathetically insipid bunch did with the bat in the second innings. 

That's the third time in about 12 months Australia has been bowled out for less than 100 in a test match innings.

If only we could pin their apparent ineptitude on match fixing

i stayed up n was quite disappointed when they past 26,lowest score eva.aussies made 47. i felt deflated after that.

For one, I don't think Australian players participate in that type of junk and secondly if they did "47 all out" would be a little too obvious I think.

What do you do with M Clarke, as captain he scores 150. But his team will end up getting thrashed.

ok.....I don't know how much corruption, or how little, or if there is any in this particular match. But one thing for sure, personally I would never rule it out in any major cricket match, given the current climate.

Haddin has to go.....That was one of the most reckless shots i have seen considering the situation..

Bring in timmy payne from tassie.....

Why on earth is Callum Ferguson not there?

Bring in Ferguson for Hussey

Katich for Hughes.

Tim Payne for Haddin.

In regards to the bowling, you build your team around Ryan Harris and Pete Siddle. Mitchell Johnson is awful.

Keep Lyon.

The Aus team and selectors playing favourites for too long. You can get away with it by having 2 of the best bowlers arguably in the history of cricket when bowling in tandem, but they arent there now and are getting exposed.

The depth of Australia's struggle was perhaps best illustrated by the fact no team has ever been one wicket away from being bowled out for 21, as Australia was until tailenders Peter Siddle and Nathan Lyon combined to more than double the team's score.

The only Australian specialist batting-line to have performed worse was in August 1896, when the top seven made a combined total of 13 runs against England at the Oval. In that innings, in which Australia was bowled out for 44, it was also indebted to a tailender - number-11 Tom McKibbin top-scored with 13.

That's the critical point for mine. In the preceding 25 years, Australia have been bowled out for less than 100 only once, against consistently much better attacks than they have faced in the past 12 months.

Is this first time in history a part of all 4 innings were played in a day? Seem to recall India and NZ played in a 2 day test match abt 10yrs ago

Crazy thing is Australia are still in this game, just a shame Hussey didn't hold onto that catch on the last ball yesterday. Also the events of yesterday puts into perspective how good Clarke's 1st innings was

Yes. I heard them mention that on the radio this morning.

Agree with Haddin. That was a shocking shot to play and he has got to go.

Hussey??? Why do you want to get rid of Australia's most consistent batsmen in test matches in the past 18months? Ponting has to go before we talk about any other top order batsman. His feet just doesn't move as quick as it use to and against high class bowling he is a walking wicket.

only this fucking australian team could bowl out the saffers for 96 in their first dig, lead by 188 at the end of the first innings, and lose by 9 wickets
