Don't get more wrong decent players and in Tubby's case decent captain. But as commentators I don't rate/like either of them. Same with Tony Greig. Chappell and Bill Lawry only decent one's left IMO.

Of the crew who do you rate and not rate?

I dont mind Taylor, i cant stand Healy at all....

I like Greig, Richie, Chapelli, Lawry....

Bring back Maxi Walker and Rod Marsh

won't happen, Max was permanently banned for taking Ritchie hostage and barricading himself in the commentary box.

Who was that commentator that did the WA games? He had a very unique voice, deepish type voice?

Remember him calling out Greame Woods,  Marsh , Moody etc....

The voice is underrated and a key!

One of the main reasons Taylor annoys me.

I remember when I was a kid watching an ODI one evening and after Michael Slater hit a boundary the replay showed him smiling after he hit the shot. Chappelli expertly chimes in with something like "so you can see from that reaction by Michael Slater that batsmen actually do enjoy hitting boundaries" ... My old man and I looked at each other and he yells "well how friggin obvious is that!?"

Slater is the worst for me, he is nothing more than a cheerleader in the comm box. Healy a close second.

When Slater used to commentate for FOX several years ago he was actually pretty good, it's when he moved to ch9 he became annoying and offered little insight.

Nah Haysie is ok

Most biased are the Australian commentators. Sunny Gavaskar is right up there as well. No wonder he was given the flick

Waqar Younis is currently commentating in the Eng/Pakis series and I find him pretty good. He is articulate and quite insightful
