Fantastic.
The top four in this field, should be head and shoulders above the rest of the competition. Two games jump out at me on the first draw and I am in big early
Manitoba 20 units to win 10 vs BC.
New Brunswick 5 units to win 5.5 vs NS.
Fantastic.

Also playing NWT/Nfl over 11.5, 2.28 to win 1.8 units
Manitoba -1.5, 2 units to win 2.4.
NFL -1.5, 2.2 units to win 2, vs NWT
Ont -1.5, 2 units to win 2.4, vs Que (Draw 2)
Sask 2.5 units to win 2 and -1.5, 1 unit to win 1.7, vs PEI. (Draw 2)
Parlay Manitoba vs N.O. and Ontario over Que (draw 2) 9 units to win 9.7
I am stunned that New Brunswick is a dog to Nova Scotia. Also, I played the Manitoba moneyline, because I had not noticed that Pinny had lines up, otherwise I would have played it at the -1.5 only. Gratton has some expeirence where the local boy doesn't.
In the 09 brier, if all games were 11.5 for totals, there would have been nine more overs, than unders, so that is someing to keep in mind.
There is a lot of first time teams in the Brier, so will need to see if there is a Cinderella in the mix. Based on my bets, I am sure hoping it isn't BC. Quebec beat Menard to get out, so he must be decent and same with Sask, no always the easiest province to get out of, so will look at them also.
I am out after noon today, until tomorrow, so good luck everyone.

Sorry three more.
Alberta -1.5, vs N.O, 2.28 units to win 2.
Sas/PEI under 11.5, 1.5 units to win 1.9
MB/BC under 11.5, 1.5 units to win 1.9
Manitoba was 3-8 under 11.5 in the 09 Brier, where as NWT was 8-3 to the over and Ontario 7-4 to the over.

Yes and in '08 the over would have gone 48-18 while in '07 it would have gone 47-19. I don't think those 11.5 totals will stick around long...and already they're juiced to hell.

Who do you like today Ang? Do you know of anyone after the top four, that could make a good run?
Glad I got Manitoba when I did, up to -257 now.

Sorry Seymour was out at the lake and only got back to get a couple of bets in, before running off to the in-laws. Will be back for the rest of the week starting tomorrow. Had a good opening day, unit wise, 6-5 +8.9 units. See you in the morning.

Monday A.M. Draw
I can't lay -200, at -1.5 with NFL. They should easily cover this, but sometimes they seem to shoot themselves in the foot a little. I would have no problem laying it with the other three favs. As such, I am going to make what I feel would be similar play at less juice and put 1.8 units to win 1.9 units on the under 12.5. Running with the theory, that they do get up on them and get an early quit out of the hometown boys. Also fits well with my morning under bias.
Also playing BC 1 unit +1.5, 1 to win 1.22 units and 1 unit straight up vs Alb, to win 2.61 units. BC has played very competitively here and perhaps Koe is in a little bit of a let down spot after beating Gushue. Worth the price.
I swore I would never play a parlay again, but sure enough I have. I took Ontario and New Foundland to sweep both their games today. 4.5 units to win 7.1 units. Back very shortly for the afternoon games.

Your buddy is correct. Nova Scotia blew that game but should have won. I love BC tonight.

Nova Scotia is bad bad bad. NFLD -1.5 was a good play IMO...
Good luck guys.
Yes, you're right...have to take into account how bad some of these teams are.

My theory seemed to hold true in the New Foundland game, as I got my early quit but I needed them to score a deuce not a field goal, which pushed it over. Thankfully BC brought us some profit and the favourites keep rolling this afternoon. Almost got the sweep, but Yukon packed in after 7 down 9-3. I expeted Yukon to keep that close, but boy they must be playing bad to lose by 6 to PEI. Updated total heading into tonight is 12-7 +20.03 units.
Tonight already on the following
Parlay noted above first two games are in, need Ontario and NFL to win it.
BC vs Que 6.88 units to win 5, also -1.5 3.5 units to win 4.95
Ont/NS under 12.5, 4 units to win 3.7
PEI/NFL under 12.5, 2 units to win 2.1
Alb/Sask over 12.5, 4.9 units to win 4.5
Alb -1.5 2.36 units to win 2.
If you don't think a dog will win tonight, you could parlay all four favourites right now, for 2-1 odds. I as you can see, am big on BC and an early quit in the Ontario/NS game.

Not a lot of dogs winning so far...my guess is the books are losing money on these games - although not likely a tonne since their limits are so low. I guess they probably won a little bit with Alberta's loss this morning...
But yeah, I got some great lines earlier today when I placed my best when compared to where they are now. If I have a good night tonight, I may take it easy the next few days as I think the books are going to start seriously inflating their lines.

I got BC at -1.5 +130 and can't believe where it is now, actually can't believe where it was,
some of my lines are lower juice but bigger spread...thinking of taking NL -2.5 at close to even money..5 minutes to ponder
GL tonight
