Ok now this is a very bold move but I will take it because I see there is value in this bet...

My plays are always 2 units per play, so this one I will just lay 1 unit on there as the odds are decent and worth a shot.

Dandenong Rangers to win the series: $3.50

The reason why I like the Rangers in this series is their perimeter defense and inside presence. They laid an egg vs Perth the other night in Perth but that was pure desperation and Whitcomb dropped 41 points that night. The Rangers have 2 chances to steal a road win vs the Flames and they get 1 home game in the best of 3 series. 

Matches so far this year vs Flames:

3rd December: Rangers won 91-83 at home
17th December: Sydney won 82-67 at home
11th February: Sydney won 81-77 at home.

So as you can see, Sydney won both home games this season. The 17th December meeting was just a terrible game from Rangers. They came out 2H and were outscored a terrible 37-22 after leading the HT score was 45-45. 

The next meeting which was the 11th February and the reason why I like this team so much to win it this season was because this was a very tough spot for the Rangers this game yet they only lost by 4. The Rangers the night before had just got their @rses handed to them vs Townsville losing by 17 points. On a B2B, they headed to Sydney and played less than 24 hours later and went down 81-77. This was also the most recent of games the 2 played against each other. The Flames are running very hot but they face a big match-up against the Rangers compared to what they had against the Fire. 

Who knows, I could be completely wrong and the Flames win both games and sweep but with the decent value, its definitely worth 1 unit.

Nice write up. I don't have a series line so may try them plus 6.5 tonight....

Oh man which book you with? Might be better off on the long run? Im hoping that the Rangers can come out full of confidence tonight... They haven't looked good on the road for sometime and up against a big force tonight with the red hot Flames.

Now remember for those who tailed this last meeting, the game hit 158 and the total was set at 157.5 and we were glad that the last free throw counted no doubt. As I said above, if the Rangers are going to challenge the Flames, they need their outside perimeter defense to be amazing as the Flames jack up the most 3's and are trying to be the Warriors of the WNBL. The Flames D is also very good of late, allowing the Fire just 130 points over 80 mins of basketball in their 2 last games.. Not bad at all. I expect some nerves in this big showdown.
