Got the split last weekend with 2-2 but made a little money after taking Kings ML before they hit PK. Not much though. But profit is profit.
NBL: 25-22
WNBL: 15-17
Just the one game tonight. Cairns vs Perth in Cairns. Cairns as I mentioned last weekend are very good at home and pathetic on the road. Perth are the only team in this league this season to be over 500% on the road which is just incredible. Line is the same line roughly as last weekend when Cairns played the NZ Breakers and won S/U. Perth are very well rested, havent played since 27th December and this will be the Taipans 3rd game in a week as they played 2 last weekend (vs Kings and NZ). Perth recently beat Cairns 73-70 just before Christmas thanks to a late 4Q rally which they won 24-12 in the final quarter. Two meetings this season with totals hit 143 and the other 181 which is bizarre to have such a massive difference in points.
Averages:
Cairns @ Home: 84 points for, 78.5 against
Perth on road: 82.5 for, 84 against.
Whats amazing is that Perth only have this game and another left for the road for the rest of the season as they have already played 12 games on the road and thats the same with Cairns.
Perth have now lost 2 straight which is the first time this season they have done that. They are usually a great bounce back team and Cairns need a win. Tough game to call but I like the over in this game because the total is just 160.5 right now but waiting for line-up confirmation in case of any injuries.

Same line here as NZ got last weekend but NZ aren't a good road team. As mentioned above, Perth are the only road team that is 500% this season. NZ have only knocked off bottom teams on the road unlike Perth. Think Perth have had good rest and preparation for this game and I think they can match it with Cairns and win by 5+

Perth Wildcats @ Cairns Taipans: Wildcats -2.5

Completely agree with Freddie about this. The Hawks are the most inform team right now. 4-1 S/U in their last 5 and 7-3 in their last 10. Melbourne are 4-6 in their last 10 and last time they met the Hawks thumped them 102-87. They met during Melbourne's hot period at the start of October and the Hawks went down 93-81 but this Hawks team have gelled nicely with AJ Ogilvy. Penney, Forman and Lisch. Melbourne are 2 dimensional with Holt and Goulding. Majok isn't going to have a nice night trying to mark AJ Ogilvy. The only way I see Melbourne winning this game is if Hawks are completely off their game and someone from Melbourne goes absolutely crazy.

Cheers Webber. Hope the Hawks show up tonight. Sportsbet have juicy odds now on Melbourne -1.5 paying $1.86 and Hawks paying $1.94 for +1.5. Lets see how this game pans out..

Congrats buddy, and hope Hawks clear for you. You aren't worried about the home court advantage?
Not in this game Erich. Agree that home court is massive in this league but when you have a team like the Hawks full of talent and Melbourne who are plummeting after their amazing start, sometimes I through HC out the window but hey, I could be completely wrong and Melbourne could turn this around and win still.

lean the Crocs as well Coach. Think Taipans could potentially be in a letdown spot after their big win vs Perth the other night. This game is basically the last game the Crocs have of making the post-season. If they lose this game, they can pretty much count their season over with only 7 games left after tonight. They would need the teams above them to crumble badly in order to make the top 4. The bad thing for Crocs is that they have Adelaide, NZ x 2 and Hawks + Taipans one more time after this game. Hard schedule.

No play for me in the opening NBL game. Lean NZ but 36ers are playing for a playoffs spot so they might play very well tonight. Lean under as well but this league is too crazy for me to play and under with these 2 teams as they both have pretty good firepower and we might see a 50+ quarter sometime throughout the game.
Back for the WNBL and the later NBL game.

Haha Peekay, it's all good. I'm not going to fade Cairns at home against a poor road team.. Instead, taking the OVER at 156.5. Will feel like a breeze in the wind for Cairns to play a team like Crocs offensively compared to Perth the other night.. Also adding Cairns TT over 80.5 in case Crocs don't show up...
