NZ Breakers have brought in Glen Rice Jr as a replacement for Hopson. Not sure if he will suit up against Melbourne tomorrow night. Leaning NZ though, Melbourne coming off 2 massive games, first they beat Phoenix last weekend and they wanted that win badly as apparently they weren't happy with the Phoenix having Melbourne city bragging rights. Then they backed that up with a big comeback win against the top team in the comp, this game vs NZ smells of a classic letdown spot with those 2 games and then the travel to NZ. I am hoping for a better line though, so will wait it out a bit longer and see if that lines goes higher.
Brisbane vs Sydney is a very good game, Brisbane manhandled last time they played in Sydney. Would be good to see how Sydney responds off a loss as that loss to Melbourne was their first of the season.
Another heavy lean on Phoenix against NZ. If all things go I as see planned, NZ beat Melbourne in another classic NBL game and then travel to South East Melbourne and the Phoenix get their season back up and running. Will wait it out once again though.
Can't remember the last time I saw the Taipans as fav's but it is acceptable given how back the Hawks are. Cannot back the Hawks at all in any game. Will sit this one out most likely.
Melbourne vs Adelaide is another tough game for Melbourne considering they play on Thursday and then back for this game on Sunday. Unsure of this game though.
Sydney vs Perth should be a great game especially with Perth getting so much rest before this game whereas Sydney will be coming back from Brisbane for this game. Very strange schedule to be giving Perth so much rest. Will see how Sydney go against Brisbane before making a play.
The WNBL has a crazy list of games. Sydney vs Townsville is nothing to get excited about but undefeated Southside play Canberra on Thursday night and then Canberra plays Melbourne on Saturday night. Melbourne blew up Canberra last time they met so can we expect the same? Hard to believe they did because when I watched Melbourne vs Southside the other night, Melbourne looked out of sync and weren't hitting many open shots.
Adelaide vs Bendigo should be another good game to watch with Bendigo playing well of late (apart from the loss against Southside). Hoping this line will be quite high because if it is, I will take Bendigo. They were getting just +5.5 vs undefeated Southside the other night but if they are getting around 7 or 8, will take them vs Adelaide as they have a nice player match-up against Adelaide compared to how they were against Southside
Final game of the WNBL weekend is Sydney traveling to Perth in what should be a beatdown IMHO. Perth have lost 3 games in OT, they are in the bottom 4 and they really need a game where they build back some confidence and now with Atkins having her first game out of the way, I think they give Sydney a massive flogging but yet to see any lines.
GL this week everyone.

Watched both these teams play recently and both have the pace and weapons to get this game over this high total. Cant remember the last time I saw a total this high in the WNBL but I will take the over due to both teams having very good WNBA players as well as plenty of Aussie National players. I can't see these teams not hitting 80+ each, lets hope they hit 164 or more points.

Canberra Capitals @ Southside Flyers: Over 163.5

I don’t like going against the Breakers at home but that would be enough for me
Was hoping for the line to creep up since it was released but it hasn't moved of +2.5 right now. Guessing Prather will come off the bench and not sure who will be in the staring line-up for NZ to replace Hopson. Might be a sit out game.

They have good chemistry at home. Logic just points to Shawn Long and Prather being better athletes and the guards cancelling each other out.

The bookies stay in business because they do get it right more than they get it wrong. It's brutal if you are on the wrong side and lucky if you are on the right side.
Melbourne total was about 184.5 and went over by 20.5. There's definitely value to be found. Sometimes you have to wait until quarter or half time for it to show up. Sydney @ Brissy is a great example... Sydney should win and are clearly the better team with the better record. It's an away game and they might be looking toward the Cats at home on Sunday.
I can't bet on the WNBL.

been a while aussie, nice to see ya got a feel for that Brisbane/Sydney game coming up in a few hours?I never have much of a feel but Im slightly leaning towards the under in this one.Appreciate any feedback my man
Hey mate, it has been a long time. Didn't see your post before the tip. Was painful getting home from work. My radar is a little off this season, hence the mediocre record so far.
Was chatting with Buckleys last week, and we both think that the overs are hitting at least 75% this season, which is just not sustainable but these games are flying over. I don't think there has been a weekend yet where the unders have cashed more than the overs so for me, I stopped playing unders in this league because there is zero defense and these players are usually shooting lights out. Also, there is a lot of free throws in my games, they have almost the same amount of free throws in a 40 minute game compared to a 48 minute NBA game. The refs are very whistle happy.

What are Brisbane doing? Are they becoming the new NZ Breakers and not showing up the 3Q? Up 15 points just before the half, turned it over and now turned it back on and they are down 70-66 and have scored 6 points in almost 9 mins of basketball.

This line is too low, Lynx need a big break out win and with Atkins having a debut game out of the way last weekend, think they let out some frustration in this game against Sydney who are coming off a surprise win last night vs the Fire. Lynx are now 2nd last and with that team they have, they shouldn't be. Good luck Sydney in this one.
Bendigo Spirit @ Adelaide Lightning: Over 153.5
I believe Adelaide were tired and buggered last weekend against Bendigo. They have publicly come out and said they want more from their offense in this game and to be more efficient. That game last weekend vs Bendigo was their 4th road game in a row, which is very rare in the WNBL. Think we see a open scoring affair in this game and there is no way Bendigo are letting Adelaide score 54 points like last weekend.

Two plays for WNBL on Saturday
Sydney Uni Flames @ Perth Lynx: Lynx -6.5

They were shooting about 60% in the first half and then balanced it out. They were scoreless until Cadee hit two 3s at about the 4 min mark of the quarter.

What league was that in? Tough loss mate, all you can do is laugh it off and move onto the next game.
Yep, I expect to lose sometimes. NFL exotic with the Raiders RB attempts. I had over 16.5.

Perth showed up in a big way tonight. From start to finish, they never looked back. Never seen a game where a team has more offensive rebounds than defensive rebounds..
No WNBL until 23rd November, some players are heading overseas next week for Olympic qualifiers.
