YTD: 11-6

Quick turnaround this week with both leagues back up and running on Thursday. The Bullets have released Alonzo Gee and are quickly trying to find another import. Rumours are that it will be Lamar Patterson.

Thursday
36ers @ Bullets (NBL)
Lynx @ Flames (WNBL)

Friday
Hawks @ Kings (NBL)

Saturday
Breakers @ Wildcats (NBL)
Melbourne @ Taipans (NBL)
Boomers @ Rangers (WNBL)
Lightning @ Spirit (WNBL)
Lynx @ Fire (WNBL)

Sunday
Bullets @ 36ers (NBL)
Flames @ Capitals (WNBL)

Monday
Kings @ Melbourne (NBL)
Spirit @ Boomers (WNBL)


So its a massive week of Australian basketball coming up. Love the Thursday-Monday schedule.

Some tough spots for the girls especially for the Lynx traveling to Sydney and then to Townsville to play the Fire. Tough spot for them.

I have NBL lines which are;
Adelaide -3.5 @ Bullets
Kings -6.5 vs Hawks
Perth -6.5 vs Breakers
Melbourne -2.5 @ Taipans
36ers -5.5 vs Bullets
Melbourne -3.5 vs Kings

Back later with some plays, will start the research

Adelaide 36ers @ Brisbane Bullets: Over 179.5

Anything under 180 points in an Adelaide game I will most likely take. This team does not defend, and that was shown by allowing a ridiculous 114 points last weekend in a 40 minute match. Brisbane at home are completely different to the road and if they can score 100 points against Perth like they did last week, then I think they can at least crack 90+ in this game which will obviously help with the over. Moore looks to be out for 36ers but they still have plenty of weapons.

Talk about a game of 2 different halves.

1H had 121 points, the 2H is going to be lucky to have 80. Incredible but still, nice way to start Week #4.

Wont be touching that NBL game because I do not trust the Kings one bit at all and the Hawks would be tired as they are now playing 3rd game in 6 nights I think with travel and there are no WNBL games tomorrow night so won't be in this forum until Saturday..

Sorry I missed your pick. I stayed up till 2AM and did not see any picks. I thought there was a 12 hour difference from Ontario to Austrailia. Going to have to check again. They turn clocks back in Canada on Saturday. More to figure out lol. Congrats on your picks. Will you be doing any NBA

Skydome, will try my best to post earlier for you, its just that sometimes I need to wait on the final line-ups before making a play.

I am doing NBA right now, slow start with a 6-6 record. I really only play 1-2 games per day in the NBA so I am very selective because its very easy to get caught up in the day and make more bets than we should.

I think the KIngs laying that much is very risky bet but at the same time it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Hawks come out and shoot poorly. I just can’t take either side in this contest especially with the Kings playing Melbourne on Sunday

That is the only slight Lean I have on this game. The UNDER purely because these teams don’t play run and gun and Hawks have to be a little tired with their recent schedule

This one is for tomorrow. Grabbing the early line

Melbourne United @ Cairns Taipans: Melbourne -2.5

Goulding or no Goulding, I think they have too much fire power and chemistry compared to the Taipans who are trying to get their combos going. Trimble great addition but can be careless at times, Jawai is a fould machine and Boone should be able to really aggravate him. Expect Ware to have another good game and I just think this low line is a great line to take for a team who were fav's to win the league this year against a team that was not given much chance at all.

Martin is out tonight for the Cats, massive loss on their defensive end. NZ been cosy at home for some time now, make the 7-8 hour flight across to Perth. I can't fade Perth at home no matter what and NZ are yet to show me what they are potential of doing, no play for me. Will keep it at just Melbourne tonight for the NBL. Looking into a massive day of WNBL action

Leaning that way Kriscar. I think its a bit of payback time for the Fire. The Lynx caught the Fire in a bad scheduling spot, now the roles have reversed.

So I just saw that Ezi is now out for several week for the Melbourne Boomers due to a hand injury. But the Rangers have been trash the last 2 weeks. But, the line is yelling out to me "take the points, take the points" seeing that the books had some faith in the Rangers last week laying -1.5 to the Perth Lynx. Now getting an 8 point swing against a Melbourne team who have hit some form of late but also playing 3rd consecutive road game in a league which is pretty. I hope I don't regret this play
