I've decided to straight out fade the Tigers until they give me a reason not to. Their early season form was solid with a little bit of luck on the side. Since their winning streak ended their ball has been some of the worst I've seen from any team this season. Their Sydney loss was a definite low point and they once again seemed lacking in any kind of plan B. This week they will come up against Jerome Randle and a sold out Titanium Security Arena. Randle and Adam Gibson are one of the better guard combos in the league and if Chris Goulding and Stephan Holt don't beat them or at least draw even then we are looking at yet another loss for the Tigers.

Operation fade Melbourne is in full effect. I really can't understand how the leagues leading team are 2.5 point unde dogs against a team that is playing some of the worst basketball I've seen this season, I mean they've been terrible, really bad. They continued their mid season slump with a 10 point loss at Adelaide and now front up at home to Perth in an attempt to win for just the third time in 10 games. The Cats themselves were humbled against they're bogey side Townsville last week but one thing we've learnt about the Cats is that they always bounce back. The Cats have not lost consecutive games all season and have been talking some big game in the media after their biggest loss of the season last week. The difference between the Cats and most other teams in this league is that they can walk the walk. They should be full strength with Casey Prather an almost certain starter and Matt Knight good to go. The Tiges just don't look anywhere near winning, especially against a top side like Perth.
Take the points if you want but I say the Cats win straight up

Good luck Freddie. Learnt the hard way the other night NOT to take Melbourne anymore. Bunch of scrubs that show no heart and Goulding has gone from leading MVP candidate to nothing right now. AJ Ogilvy I think might get MVP so far.

Don't even think it is an argument ADU, Ogilvy is the MVP leader and daylight second. Webster's late start to the season will probably go against his chances

Agreed Rod. He is so good on both ends of the court. He is in the top 5 for a lot of categories as well including FG%. Not a fan of his moustache though
