BW scores and gives up a lot. Global does have a better than average defense, but BW plays tempo so Global should also score more than their usual here. The teams have been off for 7 and 10 days so they should be energized to play and run the floor.

The last time they played each other the final was 139-126.

I'm 18-5 in PBA.

The Over cashes: 99-91.

That was about 45 MINUTES BEFORE the Global Port/Blackwater game even started. It was the 2nd game of the night and didn't start until around 6:15 AM.

1st Game: TNT -3 vs. Alaska. Total 190.5
Game 2: ROS vs. NLEX.. I don't see lines for this yet at my book? Do you?

Game #1: I'm still capping the TNT/Alaska game. The line is now TNT -4. I might have a play or might not. I want to see if the line keeps increasing over the next 30 minutes. If I end up having a play, I will post it in about a half hour. But for right now - nothing.

Game #2: MAKE 2 DIFFERENT BETS: Take ROS -6 for Full Game and take ROS 1st Half -3. This game strongly favors ROS and the line is too low.

NLEX is playing poor on both ends of the floor and ROS is coming off a tough loss to the Hotshots who are a very good team. So we get some line value here with ROS in the bounce back spot. NLEX defense is bad and ROS has the much better offense. They should score more than their usual here.

Everyone here who follows my PBA knows how much I have valued ROS over the years. However, sometimes their lines are too high. If you remember, I bet against them in their last game vs. Star because they were too large of a favorite. And Star ended up beating them.

But that's not the case tonight. This is one of those great spots to bet ROS 1st Half-to-Game after their recent loss.

I've been hoping it would move to +5 or more so I could maybe take Alaska, but it's not budging any more.

No play for me on this game. The line feels very tight. Will wait for the 2H line to see if there's value then.

After poor 1st Half by ROS playing bad defense, ROS blows out NLEX in the 2nd Half as predicted.

We win 1 bet on ROS for the Full Game, but we lose 1 bet on ROS for the 1st Half.

My record is now 20-6 in PBA.

Motowner what do you think about gk -3.5 vs star tomorrow? I'm leaning gk.

Christmas plays:

Take BW -7. BW has improved this season scoring the ball, whereas Mahindra is poor on defense, so I expect BW to score more than their usual. BW's defense isn't spectacular, but it has improved some and Mahindra can struggle scoring at times against the better competition. I feel there's good value in this line because I was expecting a double digit spread. Mahindra has been blown out in 4 of their 5 losses. Needless to say, BW's numbers (PF & PA) are a lot better than Mahindra's.

Take Star +4. Star beat ROS by 8 points in their last game which was a great win for them. Star was an +8.5 point underdog in that game and I took them as one of my plays here. Star began the season with two losses against good competition, but have since won 3 in a row. I believe their first two losses (against Beermen and Global Port) have stuck in the linemaker's mind too much. They weren't blown out in either of those games, so that's worth noting.

I like the Hotshots to maintain their momentum as an underdog here against an inconsistent Ginebra team. GIN is 2-3 so far this season, but they're not a bad team. Just hard to rely on. Star has scored 50 more points than Ginebra this season and has given up 12 fewer points than them as well. I was expecting Star to be a small favorite in this game, so I like the value taking +4 points in what should be a good competitive game.

Dont you think 3 ATS is enough for the star to cover this game?

Star covered their last three games. Dont you think that streak is enough? GK always bounce back after a blowout lose

I don't personally cap games based on streaks or trends that are "due" to lose or "must" win. As mentioned in my analysis, GIN isn't a bad team and I expect this game to be competitive, but see more value in taking the points with Star. This option also allows for the possibility of GIN winning but not covering.

Opinions can differ of course. GL whatever you decide.
