An insight into a bettors mind - when I posted before I was cursing you. By the end I was cursing myself for ignoring my instinct to take the home team after your comments on the away team travels!

The bettors mind pre-game, during and after is a roller coaster.

Haven't seen NZ favoured by this much for many years and once again I am going for the travel angle and letdown angle. The NZ Breakers over the 27 days have gone from NZ to Melbourne, then to Brisbane, back home to face Adelaide, then across to Cairns. They then came back to play Perth and then went across to Perth. That weekend last weekend was massive, NZ to Perth and return would be close to 16 hours of flying and yes they have had 5 days rest after that Perth game, the Bullets play their first road game since 22.10.17. So in fact, the exact same date, the NZ Breakers have traveled all that distance whilst Brisbane stayed at home and played 5 straight home games and their most recent vs Perth they lost by 5 and did look good at some times during the game. The last meeting the Bullets were fav's, they were laying -3 and lost S/U 101-96 but now we get the NZ favs by -8.5? A massive 11.5 point swing in less than a month? NZ playing great lately but I just have to take the points in this game.

Well that was a crazy game.. Bullets had the lead 51-42 4 mins into the 3Q and then somehow blew it and almost blew the cover..
Lucky because that line opened at -7.5 and went to -8.5
Sydney Uni Flames @ Perth Lynx: Lynx -1.5
This Lynx team have finally got their season sorted I believe and they love playing at home. The Flames beat them last time in Perth but i feel as though Sydney have played a lot lately and have been in a few places lately.
In the past 3 weeks Sydney have played at home vs Boomers, then 2 days later they went to Dandenong and lost. They only got 3 days rest before then playing at home again vs Canberra and then 1 days rest and then played Canberra in Canberra. So in that small period of time, they actually played 4 games in just 9 days which is tough and just crazy for WNBL. They then got 4 days rst and played in Bendigo vs the Spirit and won easily but 1 days rest and then back up to Sydney they played the Boomers and lost. They have had a weeks rest now before playing Perth but I feel as though Perth are clicking on all cylinders and I will take them to cover and win this game.

Not a bad way to finish the weekend.. Perth wins 81-71 and now have put together 5 wins straight. Only took them a matter of time to get their rotations working but as long as Williams is playing, they will have a chance...
4-2 this weekend...
