Wow amazing to get the point spread cover, huge day!
I don't think I can bet on Salt Lake again, even though they won me some nice $$$s. Too painful to watch. So many bad penalties and turnovers, they should have won that game fairly easily.
Salt Lake also should have won fairly easily at Birmingham, where they lost 12-9, while essentially giving away 18 points on special teams. The score could have easily been Salt Lake 21, Birmingham 6 but 3 missed FGs, 1 botched snap on a FG, and a punt returner got stripped six for a Birmingham TD.
So Salt Lake could/should be at 3-2, but they're at 1-4 because they make too many mistakes.
I really hope Arizona gets a convincing win over San Antonio today, and not just because I have $100 on them. I think if they get a decent win over San Antonio, then they won't be a huge underdog when they play Week 6 at Orlando.
Remember Arizona was the favorite to win it all before the season, but they're really not that good. They lost to ATL at home last week. Sure Aaron Murray was a wild card, but they still only managed 11 points against a porous ATL defense.
If Orlando is only favored by -7 or -8 at home (or less?) vs the Hotshots, I'm ready to put up some big money on ORL and The Old Ball Coach.

Steve Spurrier is playing chess. Everyone else is playing checkers. Nice money being made on Apollos. Going to ride with Murray today. I realize that it was one start. But Murray made every throw last week. He neutralized that bad Atlanta O line by using his legs. If the first read was not there..........he took off. Ken Zampese used a lot of screens and short passes. Zampese is a pro that has been around forever. Singletary is clueless. He got a miracle last week. Was down big. QB got hurt. Martz put the 3rd string QB in harms way.......and he turned it over. Singletary way too conservative. He will only open it up for Mettenberger if they are down 2 plus scores.

Memphis is lucky to be only down 2 considering how badly ATL dominated time of possession in the first half. Mettenberger has taken 2 sacks and 7 QB hits on only 9 pass attempts.
Memphis defense needs the Memphis offense to have some sustained drives in the second half because they've got to be getting winded.
