I've watched basically every snap of all 3 games and I've noticed a league trend that I think there has been a grand total of 1 holding call on offensive lineman on passing plays, and it came late on a Birmingham OL who basically tackled an Orlando DL when the game was no longer in doubt late in the 4th quarter. There have been a few holding calls on running plays though.
They are letting the offensive lineman get away with blatant holding on every pass play. Offensive tackles grabbing defensive ends on the outside of the shoulder pads and not letting go. I think the league wants scoring and they know the drop off in talent from starting QBs to backup QBs is dramatic.
So less OL holding means less drive killing penalties, more scoring, and less QB hits, less sacks, less injured QBS. More scoring = more TV/fan friendly = better ratings and attendance.
Be wary of betting the unders in coming weeks.

Late game seems tougher to call than what's on the surface. Both
QB's and offenses have been bad recently but SA has the better running
game and 3rd down defense which makes them appealing as a dog.
But
this is also SA's 3rd straight road game and it's hard imagining
Arizona losing 3 straight but anything's possible. SA has only played
poorly once in that 20 point loss at San Diego which explains their
overall -18 point differential, but overall they just don't score a lot
of points.
SA has the much better 3rd down
defense between the two teams but SA's QB Woodside is prone to INT's
due to gunslinger mentality. Arizona's offense started the season hot
but went cold the last 2 weeks. I assume they're approaching this game
as a must win at home while SA is probably eager to play at home again?
I don't know, just throwing some intangibles out there. I think I'll wait for live game betting or halftime if I wager anything at all.

3/10/2019 8:00 PM AAF Football 150 Arizona Hotshots* -135 vs San Antonio Commander for 1st Half !!
"The Hotshots want to establish their passing game, as quarterback John Wolford has triggered the AAF's most explosive air attack. He has completed 63 of 104 passes for 780 yards with a league-high eight TD passes.
Rashad Ross has been the most dangerous big-play receiver in the league to this point, having caught 19 passes for 295 yards and a league-best five TD receptions.
The Hotshots have also gotten a push from running back Jhurell Pressley, who has gained 266 yards rushing."
Worried bout SA's running game tho...
"The Commanders have gotten solid production to this point from running back Kenneth Farrow II, who has rushed for 280 yards while averaging 4.2 yards per carry and has scored two touchdowns."

Not at the start of the season. It took forever in Memphis for Singletary to realize he needed to bench Hackenberg for Mettenberger. It took Simms getting hurt in ATL for Murray to finally play. And Price just replaced Perez in Birmingham. So that's 3 examples where the backups are much better. I'm sure one or two more cases will come up this season.

SA gets a Pick 6 on Arizona's opening drive, horrible decision by Wolford to throw against his body like that. SA secondary has made a bunch of big plays so far this season.
