2 or maybe 3 HUGE plays this week

First of all, I wouldn't say that Kansas is playing great. They haven't faced anyone yet, and the best two teams they faced so far were SMISS and Iowa State. And guess what, both teams almost got the W at Memorial Stadium. SMISS lost by 7 with horrible rushing offense and were tied at 28 at the end of the 3rd quarter, while Iowa State lost by 5 after leading on 4 different occasions. Kansas hosts Oklahoma next week, and yes, a 5-0 team can be looking ahead to a meeting vs a 3-2 team.

Colorado benched their QB because he was ineffective. When a dad benches his son, it is clear to me that they had no other option. T.Hansen will start for Colorado and last season he got a W in his first start and the rushing offense got improved immediately. He will run and pass, but he will probably be replaced by Hawkins on obvious passing downs. Hansen has 70 passing attempts and 68 rushing attempts as Colorado QB. Last season he had 261 rushing yards in limited playing time. That,s a whole new game plan defensively for Kansas and with this news being released wednesday, Kansas has only 2 days to get ready for a new offense. By the way, I expect Colorado to run a lot more than usual and in that stadium, with the thin air, it is not easy to defend a team that rushes a lot. Colorado is 9-2 SU and 10-1 ATS in last 11 games when rushing at least 32 times and 8-0 ATS when rushing 35+ times. Their last three home dog wins, including a huge upset win against Oklahoma a few years ago came in this spot.
