Denmark was one of the first nations being occupied by Germany (Way before they started all this J ew nonsense they had going - there it was just payback for WW1) - Germany sharing borders with Denmark actually took us by surprise (so even if we would have fought it would have been over within a few hours) 

Germany actually gave Denmark a lot of “freedoms” believe it or not - they gave us a lot of jobs, we were the only country being allowed to inspect their concentration camps (in the later stages ) etc. many took this opportunity to make business with Germany (as your source said) - when the Je w thing happening became apparent a lot of danes switch sides - and helped England smugling weapons and information into mainland EU - and started bombing sides chosen by England - and as stated earlier we were very active with transporting je ws to Sweden 

a lot of Danes still chose business over ethics - almost all of those were killed by other danes after the war was over
