I am one of the most consistent NHL big pick winners & premier NHL cappers with an unprecedented level of success. Cover's undisputed #1 NHL Capper of 2013
Circled this game and you will all no doubt benefit from the fruits of my labor. I laboriously exhausted myself hours on end to bring forth to you this 5 star pick.
St Louis a mediocre 5-4-1 (Last 10 games)
Team Captain David Backes (Injured)
Top 6 Forward Vladimir Sobotka (Questionable?)
Brian Elliot Expected to start (Overrated Goalie)
The Blues are struggling right now without the services of their captain David Backes. He is the heart & soul of this team and where he goes the team follows. As it stands now the lines are jumbled resulting in chemistry issues not to mention a trio of liabilities in an over-the-hill Morrow, ineffective Paajarvi & 13th forward/pressbox watcher in Colaiacovo.
With the acquisition of Bryzgalov the Edmonton Oilers are getting better goaltending. It has been their achilles heel all season long as Dubnyk just flat out sucks. Close games to Canucks & Ducks were gallant efforts & showed this team can play with the upper echelon.
Back home from a road trip the Oiler's will be very well rested and ready to skate hard vs. a team that may overlook them. I expect former Blues forward David Perron to have a monstrous game as he has something to prove. Simply put the Oiler's top 6 are more skilled and have more firepower than St Louis.
I fully expect this pick to hit and just hope everyone appreciates the free picks I provide on occasion.

- Boston is in a whirlwind of disarray after the Thornton, Marchand incidents. Team morale at an all time low. a shattered team psyche
- Boston has a slew of injuries Eriksson, Boychuk, Hamilton, Kelly, Mcquaid, Paille
Suspended --> Thornton
- Speculation rampant of a nasty flu bug affecting many of the Bruins players
- Start of a long west coast road trip is of serious concern
Flames are a resilient bunch and have some dependable veterans in Camalleri, Hudler, Stepniak. The Flames have won 3 out of their last 4 games. Team has seen a resurgence with the return of Captain Giordanno. All Calgary's losses have been by 1 goal save for Anaheim.
Under these circumstances you would be an absolute fool not to take Calgary Flames.

This is a sweet spot to fade the Boston Bruins.

Currently on a magical pre-Xmas run hitting an absurd 75%. I'm in the holiday spirits so I'm willing yet again to donate another winning pick courtesy of yours truly.
2 teams with a highly potent offense which can pot in goals in bursts at any given moment. Both teams have well below average Defense. Having played the night earlier, both teams will be incredibly sloppy due to physical & mental fatigue.
Washinton's goalie Neuvirth injured in practice. Holtby & Nabokov are absolutely brutal this year. Nilsson can't be trusted for NYI.
Tavares/Ovechkin will have big games between the two. Washington's PP is very formidable.

Not here to make friends nor spam any services. No time for pleasantries just interested in picking winners. My picks are guaranteed and I spend countless hours daily capping NHL games finding angles to exploit. On occasion, I donate these highly coveted picks to COVERS with no strings attached!
Florida Panthers record: W5-L12-O4
Second worst away record @ 2-8-1
Third worst team overall with a measly 14 pts
Rumors are abound that Panthers GM Dave Tallon is ready to blow the team apart. The recent firing of their head coach and trading of Kris Versteeg is just the beginning. Let's be clear, this franchise is in dire straits. Player's minds are on edge at the prospect of being traded.
Florida's GA/GF (46/70) is poor & lopsided. The team's starting goalie is a decrepit 39 yr old who spent the 12-13 season on hiatus. A goalie who's best years are clearly behind him
The Florida Panthers are a group comprised of overpaid free agent has-beens i.e Campbell/Boyes/Gilbert/Gomez/Whitney/Thomas
The makeup of the roster is basically a collection of mediocre past their prime veterans. Budding talents like Huberdeau/Bjugstad/Kulikov/Gudbranson have potential, but it will take time for them to develop. The Panther's defense is looser than a thrift store turtleneck. Their best D-man signed with the Vancouver Canucks.
The Vancouver Canucks are on a 4 game losing skid however looks can be deceiving. This team is doing all the right things and these losses are not the result of being the lesser team, but rather a team that's just in a funk. The Canucks see the return of Jannik Hansen as a significant boost to their roster. Expect former Panther Jason Garrison to have a memorable performance against his former team.
The Canucks have been up against the wall playing very tough against western division rivals. Against the Florida Panthers we can expect coach Tortorella to be confident in drawing up a blueprint as a former Eastern division coach who saw the Panthers frequently.
A key angle will be favoritism in the Canucks favor from the refs. We will see lots of calls go to the Canucks. The Canucks were on the wrong side of a horrendous no goal call made by an inept referee last game. Expect an abundance of power play opportunities for the Canucks.
This is one play that I will drink the juice on. Vancouver @ -195 is a steal. This is safer than a Floyd Mayweather decision bet. The line should be -250/-270 range. We are going to see a mean, nasty, determined hockey team put away a disjointed, anemic, poorly coordinated Panthers squad.
Hit this play big and thank me afterwards.

The guy has no idea what he's talking about. Any moron can read a game preview and injury report and get lucky on a big dog. I love how he fails to mention the absolute thrashing of the Canadians the Blues gave Thursday night. Team chemistry issues? Maybe a few games ago.

Probably gain a lot more followers if you would leave the added 'dressing' out of your pick. In other words, leave all the b.s. adjectives out and simply post your pick.
