It's been a blast chilling in the BOX since last October , but my gambling year concludes at the end of May. ( another profitable one / Now 14 out of 15 years here on covers ) ..End of spring results to follow in posts 2-4 

Thankfully the JOB is allowing me to work from the tablet for the summer ...The Family will be rolling all over the North East,  soccer tournament ( Starting this weekend at Cedar point in Sandusky Ohio ) to soccer tournament until August when we anchor the RV in the Adirondacks...This is what the Mrs and I dreamed about when we discussed having children.... 2 years ago at the height of the pandemic it seemed like this summer would never come ..

If you're up at the at the SPA ( Saratoga) later this summer please hit me up ..Drinks and grub on me....If you're watching from home look for the guy wearing BILLS gear who stands out like a sore thumb ...

Will continue to post NFL and MAC football futures over in the appropriate forums throughout the summer , but will not be around covers much until week 1 approaches. ....The plan is to invest $26-33 K on football futures !!!

As far as slamming my hometown, what, are you his penalty box wife because this place isn't real jail. Are you trying to come to his defense or to the defense of Cleveland? Nobody has ever tried to come to the defense of Cleveland, not even Drew Carey. Have you ever been to Cleveland? Have you ever been to Oakland?

If someone said to me, "You're from Oakland? That explains a lot," I would either take it and say, "Yeah, you're probably right." or ask for context. Ask what exactly it explains. BWS can speak for himself.

If near than nothing necessarily. Depends on where exactly, and if you are from there or just live there. NE Ohio has some really nice place. Rural communities. Amish communities, etc. Some real shitholes that breed some real assholes. You have a generally negative demeanor so if you were from Cleveland, East Cleveland, Youngstown, etc. it would explain a lot.

Don't take it personally, the metro areas of California fall behind maybe only New York, Boston, and Philly in the asshole quotient so...

I mean, Philly is probably #1 but after that, it's a toss up.

 Truth be told, when guys can come from place like BWS, or places like where fubah is from, and be so liberal and clearly no racist, it actually says a lot about their character. I don't agree with BWS on a ton of stuff politically. I do on some things, as I think for myself and don't just toe a party line but for a guy like BWS to come from NE Ohio, and be as liberal as he is, it says something. It says he probably genuinely does care about his fellow man, and common good. And his cynicism is probably a result of this place, and not a reflection of his true self.

 It's crazy in NE Ohio and NW Penn, you see them in the "Amish town tourist trap" way but you also just see them at the bank or some shit.

It's the same in the PNW with First Nation people. There are sadly regions in the country where you can go your entire life without meeting a Native American outside of an Indian Casino. Then in a handful of regions, they're just at the grocery store.

They aren't the Amish of 20-30 years ago.  They have smart phones, they all know if the Indians/Browns/Cavs won the night before.  A few are starting to drive so they don't have to pay a driver.  They are into plumbing and electrical now, they can no longer build their houses without putting it in so they install it and blank everything off.   Whenever I hear 'fine Amish craftmanship' I picture a 14 year old kicking a stainless steel dishwasher door to make it fit into place where they didn't leave enough room between cabinets.
