You keep harping on the pictures like they prove anything. If someone hits you for no reason and you defend yourself by putting that person in a coma do you think the investigator is going to say well I have pictures of the guy in the hospital so Slovak must be guilty.
He had no right to even approach this kid which you seem to forget. How someone looks does not mean they are guilty.

Make sure you know what you're talking about before you go saying something this stupid.
Where do you get this stupid garbage from. What document or law deprives him of the right to question another person in his neighborhood?
How do you even know for sure that he approached him? Who is to say that Trayvon didn't double back on him and confront him?
You should know better!

They had no reason to think otherwise. They show up and Zimmerman is all beat up and the other guy is dead. They knew there was a problem that night in the area and when they got there the person who was the subject of the 911 call was dead.
They held Zimmerman for 7 hours and he talked to them and told then everything that they asked and he didn't even request an attorney because apparently he felt that he was in the right and the cops did too.
Right. It went exactly like that.
We believe you to be white. We believe the kid you killed with a hoodie was a black gangbanger. No big loss there. Your privilege makes us believe you. Have a nice day...

They know Zimmerman is the head of the Neighborhood watch
They get there and he is all beat up
He tells them he followed the black guy and he was attacked by him
A witness says that the black guy was on top of Zimmerman
Zimmerman shoots the guy and kills him and from the cop's viewpoint, it looked like a just killing.
So what else were the cops supposed to do other than take him into custody which they did and question him? If a guy's story checks out, there is no reason to keep him detained.
Ah yes. It went exactly like that. Except for the witness who is on the record said they heard Trayvon screaming and the detective/cop said they didn't and actually heard Zimmerman, purposefully manipulating testimony AT THE SCENE.
But we'll forget about that minor detail...(and others that are all over this thread)...
Stories always check out when you have the cops tampering with witnesses for you...

You all know this is what Scal LIVES for? This all he has and loves to twist views to fit in his Al Jr world. As pointed out, he is for a fact, a race baiter. Keep arguing with him. He needs the attention as I highly doubt he gets any in the real world

And as as what the 911 operator told Zimmerman to or not to do, that was still up to Zimmerman, and he didn't break any laws by following Martin. They had problems with blacks and Hispanics breaking into houses and cars in that area and Martin looked suspicious.
If I see a crazy guy swinging an axe around in the street out in front of my home and I call 911 and report it, and they tell me to stay in the house, but I decide to go out and take this wacko down, I am not going to get into trouble because some operator suggested that I stay indoors. They are not there and they do not know of the exact situation.
Zimmerman was head of the Watch and if he seen a suspicious person and wanted to get a better look at them for possible future reference, there is no law that says that he cannot do that. Now if he was attacked by this person, that person is at fault and in this case they ended up paying the ultimate price.
And if your daughter was being stalked like that and then left his vehicle to pursue your daughter and you were close by witnessing the entire thing, what would you do?
It is perfectly rational for A) trayvon to defend himself from a stalker nuetralizing an attack by going after someone HE feels is a threat.
You see that is the essence of white privilege on your part. Everything is how Zim perceives Martin (threat, theif, hoodie wearing thug, fool) rooted in "we are protecting our homes from thugs!!!"
It's all about property owners who have a pretty ugly racial history in this country.
But then when you have a person walking home form a store being followed, that person isn't given consideration, because he's a black kid who should be grouped with every theif in the black criminal culture.
That's the privilege you enjoy. You feel you can say that. You feel this is about protecting homes. Keep blacks at the bottom of the racial hierarchy where they belong.
Well now someone is dead because of this crazed vigilante. And even at that whites shrug and say "Hey Zim said he attacked so why would he lie since he was bleeding" furthering the gang banging stereotype even after we have video of the kid at a convenience store doing nothing but going to and fro for a damn snack. As though you wouldn't rip someone's throat out to save your own life.
Slovak - the essence of proud white privilege along with that fool who isn't here at the moment.

So if I am in my backyard and I see a guy that I have never seen before
walking in the rain in the dark, that I have no right to approach this
person and question them? Or at least try and get a better look at the
guy in case they are up to no good?
In my backyard??? What? He was in the community and his father was part of it! I hope you aren't using 'backyard' as some general turf term like "Not in my backyard!!!" with some confederate flag rapped around your shoulders as you take a swig of moonshine.

If you talk about race in any way that is not derogatory to blacks, in defense of a minority you are a baiter. Period.
If you turn on Fox News and watch Bill O'Reilly harp on black teen pregnancy rates you are 'just speaking the truth and being honest.'
White privilege...perfect example...

I hate to break it to you, but Trayvon's own father said the the screams for help were not his son's and Zimmerman's father said that they were Geroge's. I know they did some kind of test and couldn't determine who's they actually were, but I would have to take the judgement of the two fathers.
2 witnesses also had seen Trayvon on top of Zimmerman beating on him and supposedly a 3rd key witness is going to testify at the trial. I don't know which side he/she is testifying for though.
What does that have to do with witness tampering by the police on behalf of Zimmerman? It is irrelevant. I don't care what she was talking about. Her testimony was tampered with.
I don't care if god himself said those weren't trayvon's screams. The police tampered with a witness which is all you need to know about how quickly they wanted to wrap this case up in favor of Z. It is punishable by jail time it is so serious!

You are such a tool. I am saying if I am in MY OWN BACKYARD of my freaking homeand I see a strange guy walking up and down the alley, I am not allowed to question who he is or get a good look at him?
You do know, this is how most robbery criminals get caught right? By people observing the surroundings of where they live.
I also know that's how stalkers get caught.
And what if your daughter saw a strange man following her in a car for an extended period and then got out of his car to pursue her further.
What would you do if you were close by?

You always bring up white privilege, but why don't you even bring up black privilege? You know like why is it so taboo for the media or anyone to bring up hate crimes and race crimes against blacks when they are against other races, but when anything happens to a black person, it is automatically judged by the media and black communities as a hate or race crime?
Oh it is? Is that why the entire Fox News network (you know, the most watched cable news network in America) has aggressively sided with Z for over a year, going so far as to invite him on Hannity.
Now ate they part of the media? How are they judging this case and how are their millions of viewers (likely one like yourself) taking that in and being affected by it?

I personally don't care if the guy is found innocent or guilty. This whole thing was just bad judgement used by both people involved in it and it is a shame that a kid had to die.
Zimmerman seen the kid, lost sight of him and decided to follow him. Now that we know the end result, we can say that it probably was not the right thing to do. The kid probably got spooked and nervous and then got aggressive with Zimmerman and instead of running(which most kids would do) he decided to engage with Zimmerman.

Do you really believe that Fox News was the only news station that invited Zimmerman to come on? Zimmerman accepted their invite because he felt that they would give him a fair shake.

My daughters are young and not very suspicious looking, so if someone was following them, that person would more than likely be a predator. But the problem with this case is that the suspicious looking people that they were looking for were black males and sadly Martin fit that description.
I seriously doubt that if Zimmerman would have confronted Martin and they discussed the situation like civilized humans that no one would have gotten killed.
Most kids usually run when confronted and scared. This Zimmerman certainly didn't look very athletic or physically intimidating.
...And on the 911 tape, Zimmerman sounded a bit scared while in his truck "He's coming over to check me out".
People need to use more common sense.

There were like 4 different people that altered their story. One woman changed it from Trayvon being on top to Zimmerman being on top.
Again, not the point.
When you have police at the scene of a murder telling witnesses who did what, irregardless of stories changing, the entire case is essentially corrupted. And this was done on Z's behalf for the reasons I stated.

Are you saying TM needs to use more common sense? I hope you are joking.
That armed crazed vigilante quickly after that got out of his vehicle and pursued TM. How scared could he have been ? That is NOT in dispute.
And this is a man who called the police on a black NINE YEAR OLD child in the past. Like crod and Slovak convey in these forums all the time, ALL blacks are suspect and potentially murderous 'thugs' by definition to Zimmerman.
So what threat did TM pose to Z with an iced tea can as Z then quickly pursued him armed????
Jesus some of you are completely F'd in the head...

So you are telling me that if the head of the neighborhood watch (In a neighborhood that has had many recent robberies where the suspects were black males) sees someone that they do not recognize from that area and also thinks that they look suspicious, is not legally allowed to approach them and ask them any questions about who they are, or why they are there?
And this in turn gives the person who was appraoched the right to pummel the questioning body? This is what you are telling me?
I think the pictures do in fact prove that Zimmerman did not attack Martin, and Zimmerman sure in the Hell didn't get those injuries after he shot the kid.
The most fascinating thing about this thread is the belief so many of you have that he does have the right. If you think I am suspicious Slovak and I am not breaking the law or rules on public property you can ask anything you want, I do not have to answer you. If the police want to talk to me I don't have to say one word. If they arrest me I don't have to say one word, I'll have my lawyer talk to them. If you continue to follow or bother me I can call the cops on you for harassment.
If you want to talk to me Slovak on the street and I tell you to go fuuck off that is my right. You can't do a damn thing about it. This thread is scary on so many levels, the entitlement many of you feel is disturbing. Zimmerman is wrong and will go to jail for life and will deserve it.
