IMO.. No biggie.. Tanking for the better draft pick position.. Not the first or last time in any sport... Heck when the Pens were in the lottery race for Mario they tanked for a week.. Got so bad last couple of games local books in the Burgh ( no offshore or state books then ) quit putting out a line on them.. worked got Mario the rest is history.. Smart owner IMO.. happens and will happen again ... Even in the pure as snow NHL. 
You are comparing apples to oranges. Doing it behind closed doors with a wink and a nod is one thing, but bribing your coach with money?! That’s a whole other level. We are in Pete Rose territory now, especially when gambling is ubiquitous. If there is any truth to the Flores claim about Ross, the solution is simple. The draft will be similar to the NBA in which no team is guaranteed the first pick. One of the few things the NBA has gotten right.
Now as far as hiring more minority coaches? That's an issue with no easy answers.

It's not illegal to use dogs in your real estate portfolio to tank your taxes.

Whitlock really goes after Flores for marrying a white wife which I think was unnecessary. I mean you can't help who you love.
And I agree that he threw Belichick under the bus for exposing the texts when he was trying to congratulate Daboll & sent the messages to Flores by mistake. We all needed help in our careers & Belichick has helped many former coaches move ahead in the NFL including Flores.
Whitlock has a very different point of view & proved that by showing what other talking heads were saying on ESPN.
I'm also not sure why he showed up on CBS this morning with 2 white lawyers on the panel when he was interviewed & he couldn't explain his comparison of the NFL to a plantation. He really didn't answer the question. Whitlock made it clear he thought having 2 white lawyers there wasn't a good look.
